the speakers i had installed are not kickers pala (although i considered them that's why i thought they were kickers). they're rockford fosgates; R1652-S and R165. i checked the receipts to make sure. I know I checked the specs first using the Crutchfield website.

Crutchfield: Car Stereo, Speakers, Home Theater, LCD TV, Digital Cameras

you can input the vehicle model and they will recommend what will fit. you can use this as reference when you look for speakers locally.

i did not put deadening sheets although maybe i should have. ayoko kasing tanggalin yung orig plastic liner thats why i opted to keep it as is.

yeah, there's the thin plastic liner to think about.although, i thought papatungan lang nila? pero did winterpine suggest to have it deadened?

some put it on top of the plastic liner. some put them inside on the sheet metal. Winterpine did not suggest or recommend the deadening sheets. siguro kung nag pakabit ako ng amp. one thing i noticed with the sportage is its well insulated for noise to begin with. i dont get the feeling na may bukas na bintana kasi maingay yung motor or jeep na katabi ko.

ang premise ng Kia sa sagot nila sa email ko, pag basta kanino pinakabit (aside from Kia casa and their accredited aftermarket installers) ma void yung warranty ng item na pinalitan and yung affected ng item na pinalitan (i.e., wiring and others). pag pinagawa sa accredited nila (aside from casa and like winterpine) ang warranty ng item na pinalitan ang mag honor yung shop. for example, pag si winterpine nag palit ng horn, yung wiring ng horn hindi i void ni Kia but yung warranty ng horn mismo, si winterpine ang mag honor.

isa pa sigurong example, pag nag pakabit ako ng fogs sa casa (wala kasing fogs ang MT), at ako may dala ng fogs, honored ng casa yun installation pero hindi yung fogs. pag kay maspro ako magpakabit ng fogs pati yung orig wiring and others na ma affect ng installation ni maspro ng fogs, void na. kung meron fogs si winterpine, yung orig harness, hindi i void ni Kia but the fog warranty is honored by winterpine.

i hope malinaw explanation ko and hope this helps.

Yes I agree with you Sir SG, magaling din si Vince yung anak ni Master Benjie. Sa kanya ako nagpadeadening, inayos at tinimpla pa nya yung sounds ko na ipinakabit ko sa Mickeys, kaya mas gumanda ang labas na tunog.

~7km/L... that's not so bad. Considering na 2.0L Theta II siya.

Heck, a Rio consumes ~4-5km/L and it's a freaking 1.4L Hatchback

Kasi kapag hiway gumaganda yung FC meter ko tapos pagbalik ko sa city around 10l/100km ang FC ko sa city driving with moderate traffic. Pero once na nagreset yung FC ko dahil sa full tank, parati 13.1l/100km and FC ko or pataas pa. pwede kaya tanggalin yung auto reset mode ng FC meter sa GDS?

Hi Sportage owners. Ask ko lang po if hindi mahirap kumuha nung MT variant nito since bihira ang MT na gasoline SUV at below 1M pa? Also, may nakapagtry naba magpakabit ng DRL dito since AT variants lang ang meron? Thanks in advance for your responses! :D

nakuha namin yung sa amin in less than a week pero last july pa (btw, got our plates. akala ko aabot ako sa bagong plates na may 4 numbers). di ko sure kung meron available stock. got ours sa kia ortigas (look for Fatima in case gusto mo mag inquire).

as for DRL's mukhang wala pang nag pa convert pero eto nakita ko sa web - SPORTAGE R Head Lamp Assembly OEM 2EA
