Has anyone installed an hid kit yet? Any problems with the led drl? I read somewhere that you meed to buy drl cancellers so that hids will work properly on our sportage, is this true?
Fleas, i did't see your review on the rc pro, can you pm me your opinion if it was a worthwhile purchase? Tnx
Just got the unit last Nov. 5. Got the 2.0 EX Petrol variant na Mineral Silver. Very happy with the unit.

ahh that's because i didn'twell, the difference in acceleration is noticeable and i'm on stock settings lang. according to the manual, there are usually 2 more aggressive settings available. my highway mileage is improved but i think my city mileage worsened, but i do have a tendency to boost between traffic lights
and if its a worth-while purchase, if you spend more time on open roads or highways, it's definitely worth itas for those with mixed highway and city driving, it boils down to how much you spent buying the RC pro, hehe
there's another guy here (Oilman) with an RC pro and he gets his money's worth on the expressways![]()
Fleas tnx for the comprehensive review, btw are u required to use better diesel (like shell vpower) because of the race pro? Does it have better throttle response and less turbo lag?
AFAIK, you use cleaner diesel (less ppm) generally for CRDI engine longevity, RC pro or not. I fill mine with Unioil (Euro 4-ish) or Seaoil (Euro 3-ish) diesel
Responsiveness might have improved a bit due to performance/power output increase. Honestly, di ko naman napapansin 'yung lag or unresponsiveness but it's probably because I'm not aware of it? Hmm, can't think of one situation where I needed power and the sporty didn't provide
no problemoas for the visors, undecided pa ko, for now, nakakabit para masulit muna

Sabagay....free items naman eh. Speaking of free, i got a very good deal from Cubao. Threw in the HU upgrade, backup camera, 3 yrs lto. Free insurance was courtesy of the bank. Was suprised kasi nung na release yung unit, yung original HU and the Panel was given to me as well. I could not say the same for the actual sales experience though....needs big improvement![]()
yup yup i agree as well, dun dapat sa subok na talaga na dealers/stations. my family has been going to same station i fill up for years. so far so good naman.
as for the fuel quality itself from the depots, imported naman siguro yun as is na.
wow, that's a great deal! hirap talaga pag early adopterbuti na lang free un insurance ko din courtesy of the bank. otherwise, wala... pati 1500 na fuel hindi pa mabigay
from what i heard, this is what the dealers are doing sa incoming Chevy Trailblazer. understandable naman, supply & demand econ101![]()
A question lang to those who got the HU upgrade. Gumagana ba yung dalawang 12v socket, USB Port, Aux in, and ipod socket just in front of the AT lever? Yung sa akin kasi kanina ko lang na check hindi gumagana. When i got the HU upgrade, they routed separate cables ng ipod/iphone and a USB connector sa glove box.
