Kasi kagabi nagpakarga ako ng gas sa shell c. raymundo...kaso ang nakarga sa akin is diesel! 0.97 liter pa lang nakita ko na agad...Buti na lang inoff ko ang engine bago pa man makargahan. Ang ginawa tinulak ung sportage to their service center. (ginawa ko is inon ko lang at hindi ko inistart...kasi kelangan kong gawin un para machange ko gear from P to N.

Tapos ang ginawa is nilift ung kotse thru the use of hydraulic pump ata un... (sorry guys not familiar with the term) tapos sinipsip maigi using hose at parang may air pressure pang ginamit kasi kinabit ung isang hose dun sa parang air pressure na tubo nila...

Tapos tinulak ulit at kinargahan ng unleaded gasoline.

So far ok naman ung takbo...wala naman akong napansing knocking, lost in power, etc.

Question: Guys, should I be comfortable about this? Kasi I'm worried na baka nacompromise ung engine ko eh. In fairness naman sa may-ari he promised that he woud answer for any problems in relation dun sa nangyaring mali. And he also gave me free full tank gas. and he was also very apologetic.

Kelangan ko pa bang imention ito sa casa? Or observe ko muna maigi? Guys, appreciate po your advice.

(Pahabol po...since di ko inistart ung kotse, ibig sabihin nun mga sir diba hindi nagflow ung gas sa mga valves and engine po diba?)

your ride/engine should be fine even if u left 0.75li (diesel) out of 40li (gasoline) inside the tank, now that you'v totally drained out your tank you should have nothing to worry about... in our case naman mga 15years ago... yung Tamarraw FX diesel was loaded by about a liter of gasoline..... didn't seem to have any effect on its long-term reliability and operation.

but i'm interested to know what the gas station did to the fuel siphoned out of your tank? did they dump (scrap) it like they should or placed it back inside the main tank below? hehe

Sir! Thanks for replying. so far so good naman po..nothing unsual observed sa sportage ko...nilagay nila sa parang aluminum container ung fuel na tinanggal...di ko na nakita kung binalik sa main tank..hehehe...sana naman hindi!

Is this possible? di ba di kasya ang nozzle ng diesel sa gas tank or something like that? Kasi with my starex before na gas, since diesel ang common, there were quite a few instances na diesel yung ilalagay ng boy pero di kasya...

Madam...sa pagkakaalam ko (i might be wrong) is sa ibang bansa lang ung may ganitong safety feature/setup...sa pinas diesel nozzle would fit sa unleaded fuel chamber (vice versa)...kasi kitang kita ko talaga na kasya at nalagyan ako ng almost a liter of diesel. i even took a picture to be sure and to have evidence. not sure kung sa tsikot ko din nabasa ito...maybe fellow tsikoteers can also provide some feedback.

its possible in the Philippines and most other countries... i've heard that UK though has different sized caps and nozzles to prevent this specific type of problem from happening in the first place....and that just applies to newer gas pumps....

Mabuti naman at hindi mo natakbo yan ng diesel ang karga kundi perwisyo yan. This happened to me before sa M/T corolla ko dati, hindi naman nasira makina. Pero if.i were you kung may time ka pa check mu nalang sa casa para may peace of mind ka na nagawa mo lahat ng precautions on your end. sana hindi super sensitive sa mga ganito ang thetta II engines. have it checked or call casa and tell them what happened nalang.

Thanks po sa pagreply...Actually naisip ko na din po yung ipacheck sa casa kaso hesitant ako kasi a small problem or no problem at all might be blown out of proportions kasi baka gawin pang dahilan ng casa yun para ivoid or di i-honor yung warranty...so far so good naman po wala namang unusual observations sa sportage ko...

Ako sir depends on how much gas is remaining. Normally, papa-full tank ako one umabot na ng 60km and below ang pwede i-travel ng remaining gas ko. In all instances, hindi po ako bumababa ng 250km in a full tank of gas. On good days, umaabot pa nga ako ng 290km.
