Sir, practcality wise Toyota Avanza is a good choice since it has 1.3 and 1.5 variants while Kia Sporatge and Hyundai Tucson, they have 2.0 and 2.4 variants, so obviously mas malakas sya sa gas. but they have good features compared to toyota Avanza. You may check the internet to compare the features of the 3. PLUS FACTOR pa ang PORMA ng Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson. Good luck.

Mga Sir, Patulong naman po kasi by Summer bibili kami ng New Car and it's our very first own car.
Choices namin is Toyota Avanza (G)2012 model, Kia Sportage,Hyundai tucson. Toyota Innova sana pero masyadong mahaba. Kung Practicality sir do you recomend Toyota Avanza the newly designed? at ung sa Sportage naman nababasa ko dito sa Forum, Malakas daw sa Gas. Any suggestions mga sir? budget is around 800-1.2-3.

Since your budget range can accommodate the purchase of all the vehicles that you mentioned, I assume that this will not be a major issue in your final decision.

Seems your interest is more on the FC and Maintenance Cost of the vehicle... I would go for the 2012 Toyota Avanza 1.5G. Otherwise, go for Kia Sportage or Toyota Innova (For Hyundai Tucson... read the threads concerning issues with the brand and make for yourt guidance).

I suggest that you write down all the important things that you need and want in a vehicle. Then rank those needs and wants accordingly.
After that, do a comparative matrix of the various vehicles that you are considering... There you can see what matches your needs and wants. Better yet, you can give points or percentage for each need or wants.

Example:
1. Highest Mileage/L = 50%/100
2. Cheapest Maintenance = 10%/100
3. Looks / Porma / Dating = 10%/100

This will give you a more concrete view of what vehicle is right for you.

Sir SG, ilang months na po Sporty nyo? I bought my Sporty last Nov 25, Nasa less than 3000km po yung mileage ngayon nung sa akin, pero i'm scheduled to have my 1st PMS next month (march) kasi sabi ng CASA 7,500km or 4 months whichever comes first. Medyo malayo layo pa po ako sa 7,500km, although i'm planning to have my check up mga 3rd week of March para magamit ko pa. Ok lang po ba na di umabot sa tamang mileage ung pagpapachange oil ko? Thanks po.

Share ko lang mga ka Sporty, this Morning i had a bad experienced again regarding our Sportage, HARD STARTING, akala ko wala ng battery bakit ayaw mag start, triny ko ulit, ayaw pa rin, try ulit ayaw pa riin THEN i decided to remove the KEY again, at last! Nag start na. Susmaryosep! Ano kaya nangyari? Kahit Yung service advisor ng Kia Pasay 1st time daw nila nakaencounter ng ganito. Medyo nag aalala tuloy ako sa aking unit, maghapon ko syang ginamit, ok naman ang takbo. Actually twice ng nangyari sa akin to, nung 1st time i was in SM Pampanga, hard starting din pero pinalampas ko kasi after 3 wks wala namang naging problem sa kanya pero ngayong naulit na naman, di na joke to hahaha, dalhin ko na lang sya sa Kia Pasay for checking.

Nabasa yata nila lalabas na daw ang CRDi version kaya puntahan sa CASA Yon mga una try mo nag crank ba starter or totally no response?

Hindi kaya heavy use ka ng sounds mo habang naka off ang engine kaya medyo drain ang battery? Kung lagi pa ganyan better have the electrical be check, lalo na nagpalit ka ng HU.

Hi Sir Wahzal, di po ako nag sosounds pagnaka off ang makina, usually pag naka on lang po ang makina tsaka ko po sya ginagamit. Pacheck ko po sa Pasay pagpunta ko don.

need help! - i get 'electrocuted' almost every time when i touch the door to close it after a drive - usually after a long drive... this has happened starting about a few weeks after i got my sporty, but now occurrence is alarmingly often... is this the car? or its me?!! what can i do to get rid of this... pls help... thanks

I guess its just you, different people have different static charge, just like some people got "electrocuted" just by passing a ref, or a metal cabinet. Sometimes it also depends on the clothes, type of fabric you're wearing.

What at the materials of your seat, matting and the usual clothes you wear? Could be static from the friction. Try wearing all cotton/natural fibers and try using some news paper on top of your matting for a few days.
