Honestly, I let my mechanic do all the work and source all the parts, so I didn't take note of the part number, nor did I notice if it was the entire assembly or just the cartridge that was replaced.

I have a relative who has a 2011 Carnival. At 28tkms, the check engine light was lighting up upon rapid acceleration and would be gone upon engine restart, with no error codes when plugged with diagnostic tool. Fuel filter replacement instantly solved the problem. Apparently it was the first time it was replaced, and Kia recommended a 20tkms interval.

Regarding HU, I replaced it with a Pioneer AVH-295BT. Its not a very high model, but has all the features I need. Sound quality is very, very good. Speakers have never been changed.

^Sa EX na ako syempre. IMHO the LX is too bare. We only got the LX because we couldn't find a good EX unit at the time. The automatic door function can be switched off if you want. Other features I like include the power fold side mirrors, power tailgate, center tray with 4 additional cupholders in the front row and front fogs.

One other thing that has failed so far which I think is common are the plastics. Handle them very gently, mine got brittle and the mirror that allows you to see the passengers at the back fell off. I tried fixing it permanently with silicone but it ain't pretty [emoji14]

Still very happy with the van, sarap I drive, laki ng space and surprisingly durable. Only thing I have changed so far are consumables like brake pads and signal lights

One thing I noticed is may konte oil drips. Its too insignificant to spur me into action since when I check the engine, power steering and tranny oil plus brake fluid di naman nababawasan. But I will need to get it fixed eventually. I relocated to the south, anyone know a good mechanic in the Santa Rosa or binan area?

Napaka hands on nyo naman bro!

Dami features, including TV tuner pa at Bluetooth noong hindi pa yun ganon kasikat. Peri ang sound ang pangit! Parehong OEM ang speakers namin ah.

^Yung pinaltan ko OEM. Wala kasi mahanap na ibang brand at the time. Hahanapan sana ako ng KYB. No complaints with the performance of the OEM though.

    Hello sirs!

New carnival owner here, bought a 2009 Carnival EX CRDI LWB.

First diesel car ko ren so may mga bago sa alam kong maintenance.

From what I found online, yearly (10k km or so) is change oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, cabin filter.

Every 6mos (5k km or so) change oil and oil filter.

    Tama ba?

    Tnx!

Congrats on your new purchase sir! Are you enjoying the car?

Does your car still have its owner's manual? All important maintenance information are written there. But the most important parts for me would be change oil and oil filter every 5tkms, change air filter every 10tkms, fuel filter every 20tkms, and have all other fluids checked during every maintenance interval.

    Salamat sirs!

Yup im enjoying it, my first diesel so im loving the torque hehe though pansin ko it wont shift up until it hits 2k sa rpm. Should I be concerned?

Otherwise the previous owner maintained it very well. Im just expecting the usual kinks since its 8 yrs old though wala pa naman everything works great

    Thanks!
