I think case to case naman yung issue na nasa TG board. Mahirap naman mag-generalize ng ganun lang. Mabigat talaga kaha ng Carnival is you drive it crazy thru rough terrain mabilis talaga masisira suspension.

Yung turbo timer totoo yun! Not just for the carnival. Madadali ang buhay ng turbo mo kung biglang patay agad after a long travel. So yes, I'd recommend 100% the next mod you get is a turbo timer.

Im hesitant, but the kids really love the space....

check the conduction sticker. dapat start with ED letters. yung rio ko last month ko kinuha EDxxxx yung letter. may carnival purchased last Jan '12, ECxxxx naman

try to call/ visit kia ortigas or my agent(jheng) cel#09216402851. this monday daw darating yung swb a/t nila. kia ortigas is owned/managed by Columbia kaya priority sila.

Yung carnival ko walang problema sa suspension. Mag 5 years na... :-) wala din akong turbo timer... Basta kapag malapit ka na sa destination mo huwag ka na mag gunnit...

But if you really want to install a turbo timer make sure na maglock ang kotse mo. Minsan kasi mga OEM central lock does not go well with turbo timers.

yes sir naka touchscreen with navi na din, same brand sa ibang car brands since si winterpine din ang supplier ng kia, kaya nga when i sum up all the features sulit na sulit yung 200k additional ko for the LWB, laking bagay nung duscount na binigay nila, yun ang major deciding factor talaga

Is the Kia Carnival (especially the LWB version) supposed to compete with the Starex? Or Innova and katapat nya? Im looking for a family vehicle where 7 person can sit comfortably.

Innova katapat nya. downside of carnival for me is: absence of VGT equipped and lakas sa battery due to its auto doors feature on LWB version.

Hindi siguro innova katapat nyan...

Just make sure your battery is 100amps. Otherwise sisirain ang alternator mo.

The Kia Carnival competes with the Grand Starex more than with the Innova. And yes, the LWB Carnival will take 7 or even 8 persons and some cargo comfortably.

8 people is easy in the LWB. Easier to drive too than the starex. Lots of cargo space as well even with a full load of passengers.

I have a 2008 Kia Carnival SWB and i need help. It started having problems a few months ago after being serviced at Kia E. Rod. The engine would suddenly stop for no apparent reason. Had it towed by the service center and was told that i had to replace "computer box" soon. Also had it diagnosed by other outside mechanics and they cannot seem to get the problem fixed. So am i left with just replacing the computer box which cost around Php 70k at Kia?

Will appreciate if anybody can offer another way of fixing it or if anybody knows of somebody that fixes and repairs this computer boxes. We like this vehicle and would want to keep it. We are hoping to find a cheaper solution.

opt for surplus shop like saluna auto supply in banawe. they have all kinds of surplus kia/hyundai parts, engine, tyranny and ecu. dito ako bumili ng surplus engine for my 2008 kia rio. so for so good. dami rin akong nakitang j3 crdi engine dito for our carnival also the new 2.2R-EVGT. their # is 09278445207 and 8813179

Hi sirs, just joined this thread. Just want to ask if your casa PMS for your carnival is every 5k or 10k?

Recently kia san fernando just shifted to FS oil from mineral. So i was fine with the every 5k PMS but now its FS na they still maintain that PMS should still be * every 5k...
