Any pics that fellow tsikoteers can share?![]()
Exterior pics of the Carnival "short-body."
Interior pics of the Carnival "short-body."
European version has three individual second row seats.

aba, ang may kasunod na mabibili mong power sliding doors at tailgate ay previa na!then town and country na...
hehehe...
Actually, the SWB body is much wider than the Carens (oops... it's 2-3-2 pala... I thought it was 2-3-3), but it's very short.... the Starex still has more seat room and useable cargo space. It looks kinda weird... like an oversized Mitsubishi RVR (completely pointless vehicle... tons of rear legroom, but limited rear seats!).
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Both the LWB and SWB Carnival's seating config is 2-3-3. The Carens is 2-3-2.
The LWB has four rows. The SWB only has three.![]()
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
so the Carnival SWB is like the size of the Kia Carens CRDi
what's the main diff?
carens:
traditional doors
2-3-2 seating
carnival swb:
2-3-3 seating
dual sliding doors
wider and slightly longer than the carens
if indeed 1.2M yan SWB with auto slide doors.
a good/practical run para sa much expensive na previa Q! or town and country 3.0!
for me kasi, di kalevel ng carnival ang grandis-->grandis lines with carens, avanza/innova...but pointless na kung i cocompare pa sa xwind at adventure..
My old brochure says the ground clearance of the 2002 Sedona is 171 mm, so if the ground clearance of the new Sedona is 167mm, then that's just a 4 mm difference. Anyway, ground clearance is still better than the Hyundai Accent with a ground clearance of 155 mm, or the Getz with 145 mm clearance. The Mitsubishi Adventure, OTOH, has a ground clearance of 180 mm. I couldn't find any figures for the Innova.
BTW, the old Sedona has a long front overhang that scrapes on sharp inclines or aggressively tall humps unless you take them slowly. I hope they improved that flaw in the new version.
Okay lang sa akin na medyo mababa kung minivan... mas madali sa akin pumasok at lumabas sa Sedona kaysa sa Starex namin. The old Sedona stills gets through low floodwaters easily, and the middle bottom portion doesn't get scraped when passing over humps.
