March 29th, 2012 07:13 PM #232Kindly check first with your tire's speed rating. Check if your tires are fit for that speed before proceeding with your speed test. Don't push your tires beyond the speed rating. I did this before, with a speed rating of 150kph tire but im always running beyobd the recommended speed, the end result was hairline cracks thru out my four tires which the distrubutor denied my warranty claim. Upon seeing my tires, they immediately concluded its due to excessive speed beyond manufacturers recommended speed.
I miss kiko too, he can easily explain this matter in one long post to end this gear ratio/rpm/speed discussion

pero imposible mangyari to pare, dahil as manufacturer they should know almost the pro's and cons before and after they carry out into a final test. siguro niloloko lang kayo ng distrubutor nyo para maka save sila.

its up to the consumers to know the speed rating. You can now easily check the speed rating of your tires thru their respective brands over the net. Its better to follow the recommendation of the manufacturer, its for our own safety and the safety of other motorist as well. Can't imagine if one of those tires blow up during my high speed runs.
