Kudos Sir JJ on your great MU Project! Sir, your lights (tail, signal, etc.) still seem to be in great shape, some of our lights have started to crack, may market replacements ba for these? or surplus lang? Medyo mahirap maghanap ng original e, n medyo mahal, would you have any suggestions on alternatives?
Noobie here, we own a similar MU, currently a work in progress, hope to turn it street-worthy like yours someday Sir, slowly but surely or as budget would allow it

...Browsing through the net I saw this forum and it's indeed a haven for Isuzu owners, glad I came across it!
Anyway Sir/s, I am currently working on the MU's sagging rear, I don't know for other MU owners but I have noticed a couple MUs running around with the same sagging rears, "nakaupo" ika nga, bawas macho paktor hehe.
After consulting a trusted mechanic and his comrade (who specializes in lifting rides) we finally arrived to a solution of having new (longer) shackles fabricated, this after the specialist adviced against fixing the problem via pagpa-press at add ng welya which he says is bad for the vehicle in the long run. I know as it may be already too late to ask for advice or inputs (as the new shackles are currently being fabricated now)
what is your take on this mga Sir/s? note lang po that I don't do off-road naman, regular short-distance trips lang naman po sa MU.
Also I'm trying to look around for low-priced bang-for-buck foglamps, any advice on what brand and how much usually ang quality foglamps? also a concern, I have been reading on other threads how foglamps are prohibited nadaw?? may nang-coconfiscate padaw? totoo po ba ito? although I'm not planning to have super-bright fogs I would definitely hate to have them confiscated after just having them installed
And Sir/s may I also know if adviseable po pa repaint ng dash? since subic unit kasi ito some portions have started to fade w/minor chipping already (repainted lang siguro), I was thinking of having it repainted ulit ng mas maayos, will that be okay or would it result to uglier paint-chipping over time? (since exposed ito sa init), any advice/suggestions on this?
Thanks in advance!
