    oo nga ano meron pag sanden... sa akin zexel pa ang aircon ko eh. Comments with trooper right now is the ride.. huhuhu tag tag sobra. Interior naman ang hirap linisin.. parang gusto ko na nga lagyan ng seatcovers Emblems bilis mag fade... hmm i guess Yun lang ang ayaw ko but the reason for me to choose trooper is because of the 160 hp di ka bitin sa lakas.

    OT : guys medyo nabawasan ang tagtag ng ride ko.... kasi nagpa full tank ako.. deym dapat ata lagi ako full tank para di matagtag

    I think Zexel yung a/c sa harap pero yung rear a/c ay subcontracted na sa Sanden. Medyo olats talaga ang materials na gamit ng Sanden. Ewan ko lang kung ok ang lamig. At dahil add-on lang siya (na kunwari'y OEM), wala siyang controls na operable by the driver.

    Yung sa mga '97 na Trooper (UBS 69 series?), galing sa likod ang ducts and ang lakas magdumi ng carpet na pinang-upholster. Yung evaporator housing nakasiksik sa left side ng luggage compartment tapos gawa sa BAKAL! Hehehe. Nagulat ako nung sumakay ako sa Trooper ni Djerms.

    The 2003 model uses a Sanden a/c compressor- definitely not as cold as the zexel a/c. Is there any way to increase the "chill" in a sanden unit?

    regarding looks, i don't hate it naman but it's dated na and it's not exciting at all.

    sana instead of the lcd vcd combo, nilagyan na lang ng abs.

    when lowered, yung armrest sa driver side nakaharang sa handbrake lever. hindi rin ergonomic yun position ng door handle sa loob in relation to the power window controls.

    walang stock remote switch yung rear blower na accessible by the driver, yao ming exempted. kasi if you're parked lang and the key is set to the acc position (so you can listen to the radio and not waste gas while waiting lang), auto on na yung blower.

    pero, trivial lang lahat yan. can't complain sa power, if you want to overtake, apak lang, maski uphill, tapos ang trabaho. sarap i-long drive on a cloudy day at naka bukas fully ang sun roof! compared to other suvs, hindi gaanong matagtag pero may roll nga lang.

    One thing I noticed on all Isuzu units, mapa-Trooper, Crosswind, Fuego and even NPR series. Hindi yata tinutuunan ng pansin ng Isuzu engineers ang wiper setup. Isuzu units have semi-flat windshields which are not that difficult to match wipers with. Pero sa napansin ko, either the blades are ill-fitted that wipes off rain drops on small areas or the wiper arms are too long.

    Maybe they need to enroll again wipers engineering 101?

    when I bought mine, there is only one reason: price... I really wanted a patrol but cant stretch my budget... process of elimination left me with 2, Pajero or Trooper (brand new only no 2nd hand options)

    Trooper, newer engine compared to Pajero... better ride than Pajero, larger rear space sa 2nd row (its even bigger than a patrol inside). Im not against the Pajero... really hard decision between the 2...

    there are small things that made me like the car (its not love at 1st sight... not like the Patrol, ganda at 1st sight)

    1. the dual door sa rear is better for tight spaces (which made me like it... at 1st hindi kasi) I have a small garage... the folding side mirrors are actually a big help 2

    2. there is a small transparent strip sa running board (right below the door, still on the body) which helps lessen scratch marks on entering the car... I have kids =)... most kids step on them or slide their feet on them, walang gasgas!

    I find these details quite Japanese! which I like and actually usefull

    Cons: lousy rear aircon, old body, 2wd, pero ganoon din lahat sa price range diba... except the lousy aircon =)

    Also, nawala yun foglights, cd changer
