Weekend bonding with Pa - DIY

After sending the parts to our province, my father was so excited so i have to come home last weekend. . .

here are the parts i sent 2 weeks ago. . .





upon arriving, i just ate breakfast then we started our bonding. . .

Here is the pix of our 2003 model crosswind. . .



We first removed all those that has to go. . . .


Then measure, cut, drill, transfer the bumper bracket from old to new bumper. . .


then lets see if it will fit. . .



Dami pang residue ng packing tape ang bumper. . .


After that we went to an auto electric shop to convert the wirings for the headlight. . . gabi na kami natapos, medyo di magaling ang electrician...

Eto na pix ng crosswinf namin nayon. . . sa airport na yan . . .sending me off back to manila. . . 2 days and one night lang ako sa province. . . i just need to satisfy the exitement of my father. . . and im happy kasi everyone in our family was happy of the new look of our car...


walang fog lights. . .nagkaubusan sa casa. . .sana next week meron na. . .

nice conversion bro! question lang po, wala bang fitting issue sa fenders? as in sakto ba yung clearance / turn signal lights?

i bought 1 headlight in banawe,
the grille, 1 headlight and the lower was from my crosswind
the filler and spare tire cover from a GT brother
upper bumper from a friend. . .

do you have pic after you cut and bend did you spray again the paint for this fender. same lang ba mga hole for bumer and grill no more retrofit sa mga hole

Ok here it is... so anybody can DIY the facelift/conversion. . .

This is the critical part. . .
See the previous pix, there are two measurement, the first linew is for the edge of the fender. . . but you will not cut it there, you have to give about half an inch where you can attach the headlight filler. . .

If I may, make sure to apply sealer or primer to the area where the cut was made to eliminate the potential source of rust.
