March 12th, 2008 08:28 AM #1I'm planning to upgrade my pick-up to turbo diesel. May i know what year model isuzu releases such variant? Is it also synonymous to say that turbo is intercooler?

LS/fuego pickups have 2.8 and rare 2.5 turbo equipped engines. Avoid the automatics unless its important. Turbo is different from intercooler/aftercooler. Turbo is used to compress/suck air using a shaft with impeller to harness it from exhaust gas. while intercooling/aftercooling is the process of lowering the temperature of the air ideal for compression.
