What are your guys' take on this?

i have just been to Cruven last friday to have my suspension done and boy they did wonders! i think those inject-ables are really worth a try considering they give at least 1 yr warranty...neways

as i was chatting with Mr. Claro(owner), he advised having my turbo cleaned as it really helps a lot in improving the performance, especially that mine is already a bit old, citing a kia carnival that they just had the turbo cleaned, as an example, his cousing was really happy. (kase yung turbo daw ang malakas mag ipon ng carbon -- didn't really get his statement)

so, i'm asking for opinion...has anybody here had their turbos cleaned? mine has some leak around the housing and he said they will be able to fix it since all it takes is bushing replacement... he's charging 2k for the cleaning job, inclusive of the part to be replaced...

i think he's a straight, honest to goodness guy that's why i'm pretty much convinced with his explanations...

Btw, saw OTEP and Caloy there...at least i had company for almost half the day.

    TIA

today, we just cleaned a Toyota 2c-t turbo. we just disassemble, cleaned and changed two O-rings and change the swolen hose.

figured why turbo sounds like a jet, because the fan looks similar to a Jetplane propeller...

and yes it improved performance significantly and the whistle sound is louder than before it wasn't cleaned...

we never had any part replacements, though the fan looks loosen a bit, same with our 3c-t. we have no idea if it's normal since we are not professional mechanics. hehe...
