RedHorse: Shipped it via Negros Navigation. P6xxx.00 ang charge nila plus mga arastre fee pagdating sa North Harbor amount to about P600 so roughly mga P7000.00 ang total gastos. The charges are based on the dimensions of the vehicle (length, width, height, etc.)

One thing tho, why do folks call a non-4x4 truck, 4x2 as opposed to RWD(or FWD)?

4x2 = 4 road wheels with power transmitted to 2 of those four.

The 4x2 term was really hyped up by the marketing people that's why it stuck.

4x4 wagons are currently slapped a 100% excise tax. There are almost no 4x4 wagons on the market today save for Suzuki Jimnys, Vitaras, Foresters and a few other compacts.

That sucks :evil: Does the tax apply to new vehicles only? Does it also apply to AWD cars such as Forester,CRV's, etc?

Yup, new vehicles only. AWD cars seem to get through/around it.
