Thinking of Selling our ISUZU TROOPER 2003 need advice

hi guys just want to get advices, We own a Isuzu Trooper 2003 Skyroof Edition 1st owner bought brandnew, right now the car mileage is 24,900kms yes its legit (sunday car lang kasi eversince) this year lang naging everyday car kaya lumaki mileage. wala kami bad experience sa car, nag palit na kami ng injectors during the recall since it's free and maski walang problem yun car, the car is in good condition no accidents,not flooded...very well maintained every 5kms change oil and fuel filter. 1st time kami nag palit ng tires 3weeks ago lang

recent na problem lang namin now is yun both sides rear passenger door sa may upper part may konting rust sa weather strip na ipon yun tubig. planning to change the whole door. just today nakahanap na ako ng doors (ibang color lang need to repaint it to white) ofcourse with flarings and very good condition walang tama.

the question is papagawa ba namin yun doors? yun door is shell only they are selling it 2,000php each, lilipat na lang namin yun existing components ng original door namin like:

1. windows + mechanism
2. switches
3. weather strip
4. sidings
etc...

then have to repaint it to white...since medyo luma na yun car but still in original paint (NO ACCIDENT) meron minor scratches na hindi maiwasan, it is obvious na repainted yun 2 rear doors namin...so i was thinking na pangit na yun auto kasi iba na ang color since yun white eh mahirap habulin. so kung pa hilamos namin estimate namin is 60,000php

I was thinking na kung malasin kami baka ma experience din namin yun mga injector problems in the next years,maski meticulous kami sa auto and my dad mahilig sa ISUZU (back then we have crosswind,2xpickup and Trooper) Trooper na lang naiwan....

My dad wants to buy aToyota Hilux but not now meron kami mas priority as of now, i said yun hilux maski next 2 years meron pa. pero yun isuzu trooper baka mas bumaba na resale value.

what is the best thing to do? thanx in advance!

Sir im an isuzu trooper owner too my trop is 2002 mdl pa since i bought it jan. 2002 umabot siya ng 8 years bago napalitan ng injector kahit tumatakbo pa kailangan palitan kasi dumating na young parts nya under warranty recall kasi.240t km. Hanggang ngayon umabot na ng 285tkm ok pa man din wala akong masyado naging problema sa trop ko

My isuzu trooper 2002 mdl 4jx1 mas lalong gumanda ang takbo niya medyo nawala na yung malaking usok niya na lumalabas dati when i used additional oil. Ngayon sinubukan ko 5.5 liters of delvac mx and 2 liters of delvac 1 fully synthetic mas lalong gumanda ang power niya mabilis humatak parng bumalik sa brand new ang power nya lakas humatak. At change oil ko every 8t km or minsan 10t pag nakalimtan ngayn 10 years na siya ung jan 2012 mas lalong gumanda ang andar ng makina

Sir, gamitin ninyo madalas ang Trooper ninyo. Ang gaganda pa naman ng mga yan sir.

Sadyang kakalawangin po yan kapag hindi nagagamit and worse magiging sluggish ang power niyan. Dapat sir gamitin palagi, matitibay po mga yan at tatagal po yan kung madalas gamit-gamitin kaysa sa madalang na pag-gamit.

Hello sir, dont worry much of the off shading of your unit once its repainted. Try brining your trooper to a reputable shop for the painting of the door panel. Normally the nearest color matching is only 80-90% match. That little different especially to white colored vehicle wont be notice after a month or two. Just ask the shop to perform a complete rub down before proceeding to painting the door panels.

every 5000kms change oil kami using motul oil, we don't use cheap oil

problem lang namin yun isang pinto hindi kasi masyado nabubuksan.

nag decide na kami wag ibenta since brandnew condition auto namin and i think kami lang sa pinas ang ganyan mileage considering 9 year old car.

YUP sir, mahal talaga ang sariwa pa, lalo na kaunti lang ang mileage. Anyway sir, bumili na rin ako ng 2nd-hand at sariwa din plus it comes with a Diamond Parts and Labour Warranty for up to 225,000 km at any state in Oz - truly satisfied ako dito sa Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.7 V6 MFI. Runs also in timing chain like the Isuzu's and while its chassis design is ladder-frame like the Trooper, it is however "tucked-in" and not outrigged, that's why it has better centre of gravity than the typical SUV, except against the Mercedes Benz SUV's that share the same intergrated ladder-frame chassis in a monocoque body.

i was just thinking that in case you sell the Trooper, we may get interested as a family as we still live in Metro Manila.
