hmmm, baka nabasa? hindi pa ata repairable yan, kasi meron akong nakasabay minsan sa isang auto supply, bumibili ng alternator ng trooper, it costs more than 30K!

nandoon ang part number. Back Cover Assembly lang ang papalitan, nakapaloob na dito ang IC at nasa 15,000 lang ito. Kung wala sa Walco, try sa Isuzu Manila medyo ito ang kumpeto sa spare parts na casa.
Even the most basic engines have ic's in their alternators.
It does fail from time to time pero dapat may warning signs naman yan like the dash light or mamamatay ang radio when you use the turn signals.
May around 2 hours of reserve capacity naman ang mga battery. Dapat napansin na niya yung within the span of two hours.

pwede pa namang itakbo ang trooper na may sirang alternator, palitan muna ang battery (tyak discharged na ang nakakabit dati), then kargahan ng diesel ang fuel pump.

Matagal na sigurong sira yan di lang napansin ng driver. By the time na itirik sya ng sasakyan, ubos na ang karga ng baterya. Pero diesel engine yan, di kinakailangan ng baterya kahit na umaandar na ang makina. Unless yan yung bagong Trooper na may EFI ek-ek?
this is why i love my old diesel car... mapaandar mo lang.. kahit baklasin mo ang baterya.. takbo lang ng takbo.. hehehe
Yung alternator ng Trooper or charging system is technically called an IC integral regulator charging system. Its solid state and is mounted along with the brush holder inside the generator (alternator) on the rear end cover (sabi nga ni Redhorse). Nasisira talaga yun but dapat malaman mo kasi di na macha-charge yung battery. May ammeter naman mga trooper. May 9 na diodes kasi yan inside to convert A.C current to D.C current then the output is controlled by the regulator (para di mag-over current). Pag nasira yung regulator wala ng current papasok sa battery. HTH and paki-post paano ginawa yung alternator including cost.![]()
