    ARB,

OT: How was the foglight mounting done in this one? Pwede kaya yan sa existing dmax ko? Thanks.

BTT: Sa thailand din iba ang mounting ng intercooler, hence the hoodscoop. I like how the old dmax looks compared to this new one but i think this will sink in fast to the target market.

I wonder why they took the trouble to mask the IPV... they've already shown the facelifted IPV at the Manila Motorshow.

I don't think it's on the D-Max platform, though... from sitting inside, it feels more like a re-skinned Fuego.

Mukhang locally assembled yang both facelifted D-Max at IPV nayan....

Oh... okay. Looking at the interior kasi, they use a whole ton of old kit... even some stuff that hasn't been on the Crosswind for at least the last three years. Hehehe.

hindi naman siguro, they should put the 2.5 crdi in the crosswind since the alterra's powerplant is the 3.0 crdi. so meroon parin differentiation.

posted these pics in the dmax owners thread already. if its been spotted in baguio, then i think its on track for a 4th quarter launch.

taken from isuzu's japan website. the front...

the inside... the airducts are round and the instrumentation lights are flourescent already (optitron)

taken from isuzu manila, so the new dmax look is already available in the new alterra, even the inside is already the same as the new dmax. i think the powerplant will also be the same as the new alterra... CRDi!

I was at the Mandaue Isuzu Casa today for my 20T Km PM general check up and I've asked when will the new facelifted D-max appear in the Cebu Streets... sabi nila July daw... i dunno kung how true... let's wait and see... nakita ko lang ang new alterra... no new d-max in their display area....

had my dmax serviced today (65K km)... nakausap ko yung technician about the 07 model kung ano engine... ang sabi daw sa kanila same lang ng current dmax and not the i-teq (common rail that the alterra have)...hence no hood scoop unlike the thai version.

If they won't put in the crdi engine, I'd prefer the ranger over the max. So mukhang panlilinlang nanaman ang gagawin ng isuzu just to say that they have a newer model

I saw those 'masked' vehicles on the NLEX (on their way to Baguio?).

The 'new' D-Max mags seemed to be borrowed from the 'old' Sorento mags.

over here in thailand i have seen these new Dmax running around.. what i have notice though is the the 2.5 versions dnt have the hood scoops.. the one with the hoodscoops are the 3.0 CRDi versions.. even though the 2.5 still come with CRDi.. its just what i notice over here..
