No reason to, really. It'll be a bit quieter at idle, and some people feel response is better, but you won't gain any economy benefits from going Nitro or using Petron Turbo Diesel.

I fill up once in a while to clean out the tanks. But the regular diesel is okay already.

I tried to fill my tank with shell nitro + diesel just a few a days ago just to know if there's a difference from my regular diesel refill and I noticed an improvement on the acceleration and cleaner combustion. yung dating maitim na usok ay medyo malinis na ang lumalabas especially in the morning after starting the engine. By the way, it was recommended by a friend who also owns a crosswind xuv A/T who noticed a big difference on the perfomance of the engine after the switch. hindi naman masasayang ang pera mo sir for just a mere P2.50 difference when you can have a cleaner combustion and improved acceleration

Syuryuken, your wrong bro. sorry to say this. pero try mo uni-oil euro iv na ito. tahimik at tutulin crosswind mo. 2.6rpm at 100km/hr mobil delvac mx 15w40. but wait there's more! low emission pa. kasi pure diesel ito at madali masunog. give it a try friend. my ride is crosswind xuv a/t 05.

becoz syuryuken said hindi raw tutulin ang cosswind kahit anu ilagay na diesel. i said pwede tumulin but you give it a try to put a diesel from uni-oil gas station mapapansin mo ang pick up ng ride mo at low rpm at high speed. perhaps positive points more on fuel consumption. sa mga tsikoteers mga brothers subukan nyo ito para experience nyo. i tried this about 3 days ago up to now.

A Crosswind has an ancient mechanical injection system with non-adjustable fueling and fuel timing. High-cetane diesel does absolutely nothing for it.

In fact, High Cetane diesel CANNOT make more power than regular diesel. High Cetane diesel or diesel additives only matter in that they make for smoother idling.

No matter what diesel car you're driving, no matter what diesel engine is in it, no diesel formulation will increase performance. That's why the diesel used in Audi's R15 racecars is little different from regular diesel, except in that it's synthetically formulated, to ensure the injectors don't go boom boom.

What you're feeling is the detergent qualities of a better additive package or biodiesel. Which you only need to put in once every few tanks to clean out your injectors and fuel system to restore performance lost due to dirty diesel. And those effects last over the next few tanks.

*SIR boypogi555: mine is 2002 xuv A/t Fuel consumption is 8 km/l city driving 10 km/l Highway un bro at 120k mileage na.
