    Guys,

Need your help just saw these mags Mondera B-52 mukhang ok ba ang 18" for trooper and tires? Or would it look ricey feel ko kasi di bagay specially I installed an JAOS lampstay with lights. Plan ko sana this 18" and street tires yung maganda thread pattern.

My other option is stock mags and upgrade my tires, naliliitan kasi ako sa gulong ko specially with the addn't 2 inch due to OME suspension upgrade, what tire would you recommend gusto ko sana malapad. Although kung mataas ang sidewall baka magewang?

Guys I would appreciate your suggestions on the Pro's and cons of these thanks!

Try to find the tires for the latest Range Rover. 18 inh yata yun tapos 60 series na goodyear. Pag may nakita ako ipopost ko dito exact model. One problem with low profile tires is matatagtag but with the trooper's suspension di naman siguro. Hihina lang ang pick-up/acceleration ng trooper mo. Marami na rin ako nadrive na trooper na naka 18 inch. One thing is sure...Porma talaga pag naka 18 inch ang trooper.

If your tires will be plying along mostly on city and highway, 285/70R18 mounted on 18x8 will do the trick. Di naman ricey since your model is a 4x2 model.

Kung gusto mo ng bling blings 20x8 chromed. Kaso you will have to really slow down on humps and potholes. Masakit indahin ang bingkong na 20" mags.

Ic if ever I would just opt for a tire change wat tire would you recommend and what size yung para di naman mukhang maliit ang gulong ko. Coz the way i see it mukhang undersize ang gulong ng mga trooper

guys, question... is it ok for the tire width to exceed the mudguards? will it dust/mud the body of the car which will lead to scratches?

mdpo::: I'm not familiar with the specs of your mags, can you post it? Di ko po sigurado kung 16x7 or 16x8 yan. But I've seen some Trooper units sporting 285/70R16 on stocks. This will produce a more brute look. Btw, it doesn't look good on HT tread pattern. AT should do the trick.

xox::: Safe tire width should be 2-3 inches inside the fender or fender flares (if you have them on), to avoid flying stones and debris that can damage your paint finish. But this will make your truck look puny and may not be aethetically appreciated by folks.

245/70/R16 ang stock ng trooper mga gaano kalapad and kataas kaya ang kaya nito without the sway, coz diba pag mataas na goma tendency is malakas mag sway due to softness.

    Would very much appreciate suggestions.

    thanks.

i have 275/75R16 AT tyres on stock rims for my trooper/big horn. labas ng konti sa fender (mga 1-1.5" lang naman) but gusto ko yung itsura. Kung may fender flares I think eksakto yung 285/70R16

Yup may fender flares na yung mga local na 98-up na trooper. 285/70R16 ok yun. BFGoodrich, Pirelli or Yokohama. Dami ng threads regarding tyres. Ask na lang Ungas to post it.

02 trooper? this is the diesel right?

there will be a big differnce when you install 17's-22's na mags for your trooper as far as steering is concerned...Matigas kasi ang steering ng trooper to start of.

if i were you, try to drive your trooper with the mags on before buying it or drive someone's who has mags on the trooper. HTH

lynx: Why? Mas malaking mags does it mean mas mabigat or mas matigas yung steering? What are the disadvantage of having 18"?

gary: pang street lang ang habol ko never naman ako mag offroad but I travel on muddy or tarmac once in a while pag nag out of town. Ano kaya magandang gulong?

    thanks.

There too many brands to choose from and too many to mention. Find what fits your size criteria, price and stock availability.

    Guys,

I just heard from a friend of mine na pag mas malapad daw na gulong mas lumalaki ang turning radius? So does this mean I will have a hard time maneuvering in tight spots? Anybody had this problem with their rides? thanks.

What you heard from your friend, did not completely explained how it happened. Pag mali ang offset ng aftermarket mags, binabawasan ang birada ng manibela. May stopper yan magkabila na pinaliliit talaga ang turning radius pag may sabit ang bagong kabit na goma.

In your case, kung gagamitin mo ang stock mags which is zero offset. No effect whatsoever. Except if you will mount a 305/70R16 or larger rubber, which is too wide for your stock mags. And you will have to regear final ratio to compensate for the heavy rubbers.

Could you be more specific, which tire brand, make & model. I did a search for tires and all tire threads came out even for sedans. It displayed 966 topics to begin with, hehehe.

You could try the previous search I made here:

    - san na yung thread on SAVERO M/Ts? <<==search link in one of my post.

    - Dunlop Grandrek A/T wasted...ano ok na A/T?

    - ano epek ng pagpalit ng rims+tires???
