query about isuzu pick up ls (pre-fuego model)

good day, just want to ask around about the isuzu pick up, yung model before fuego, i heard may mga local at meron din CBU, tanong koi lamng sana mga feedbacks about them, and if ever meron may nakatago na good unit for sale

I had both units, 4ja1 is a direct injection engine. Matibay at matipid na engine but medyo maingay.
CBU models have bench type front seats while SKD have bucket seats with center console and embossed isuzu at the tailgateCBU at SKD sticker lang. Both have lever type window raiser.
If you want a workhorse i will recommend isuzu LS 100%.

thanks 4jgtootsie, looks like they are really good pick ups', medyo mahirap makahanap these days e, there are a few for sale kaso mileage is on the high side, yung iba repainted... i'm still looking though
minsan may nakita ako, kaso nakalagay sa side 2.8, i thought ls are only 2.5 diesel, anyway it was a 4x4.. sayang di ko pa kinuha...
if any of you guys have a good isuzu ls for sale, inform me pls...

2.8 have 4JB1 engines LS are mostly NA and Fuegos are Turbocharged without intercoolers.
Hirap talaga makakuha niyan kasi its so liked by its owners kasi matibay kahit anong parusa bigay mo. Madalas high mileage yan kasi pang harabas, company at probinsya ang gamit. Meron rare na government units na 2.5 na 4x4 kaso baka underpowered.
Pag may nakita ako dito sa shop na binibenta PM kita.
Nissan pickups are also good.

i have one 96 model 4x2. Engine parang bago pa din, one click. 115k km na ang mileage and super tibay. Engine is noisy but tahimik na once you hit 60 kph. Nung naghahanap ako nito, naka walong unit ang tiningnan ko bago ako nakakita nang hindi hi-mileage at abused.

Maski high mileage basta original at casa maintained at maingat ang may ari ok. Factor in the cost of overhaul sa tawad mo. Malamang cylinder liner, piston rings at some bearings at bushing lang papalitan. Syempre overhauling kit. Kung may budget pa valves, v. guides at seats. It may cost as much as a surplus engine all in all but you know na bago lahat ng kailangan na bago sa loob at wala pang problema sa change engine.

madami dami na din natanungan ko... unfortunately most are ahente... as usual, most of them basta mabenta they will tell you what you want to hear...
sana maka tiyempo ako ng 4x4 2.8d na lo mileage and well-taken care of...
punta kaya ako sa wish ko lang...
