paulchua: file a formal complaint sa DTI bro and do all necessary legal matters to air your complaint. Mali talaga eto ng Isuzu. FYI: Search the Aussie/UK thread and you would see soooo many complaints about the 4JX1. Marami talagang problema yan. Yung 4JG2 ang bullet proof.

thats the injection pump that is being supplied by Denso.... the injectors arent supplied by them....

sir paulchua, baka you give in agad when they asked you to pay for the injectors, IPC would replace them free of charge basta ang injectors ang prob.. ours was outof waranty na kc more than 2 years already but it was warantied by the casa dahil sa injectors... kahit the 2nd time they raplaced it... we just payed for the sensors but the injectors was free.... let them try installing euro3 injectors and let them check the mechanical catalytic converter baka barado na kaya nag backflow ang exhaust mo causing the stalling... ours was removed kc barado na and it was one of the cuase but nasira ulit and injectors... correct me if im wrong... iba naman cause sa D4D kc hindi nila alam kung bakit nag stall ang engine nila... they only reprogrammed your ECU but andun pairn yun prob a few day or weeks later...
isuzu admiited that that the injectors was defective.....

Kailangan makulit ka lang. This is based on my personal experience with my 2002 Trooper and at least three other friends.

After my injectors were replaced around 4 months ago, my Trooper is still running as good as when I bought it almost 5 years ago!

MAHAL LANG TALAGA ANG SERVICE SA CASA ! !

thats not my point pare...
tama na your injector has been replaced... but how long will that stay...?
i had mine replaced twice and thethird one failed in less than two years....
maybe im just unlucky as the rest of the people you know...
but my point is this.. are we supposed to just go back to isuzu whenever the injctor gets broke? mine broke and water entered the engine....
the engine is the life of the car.. it is not an replacement part like ball bearings etc. the engine dictates the life of the car. and it is the most expensive. we buy cars because we trust that the engine will not fail us. well.. i did anyway ....

its just a matter of time before your inectors give way... and by that time what will happen? still pray that yours will not give?

my objective is simple... get together and move to complain why this is happeing and get better service for a 1.65M car.

thanks sir for your post.
i never paid for my injectors they replaced it free of charge.
i was actually happy with regards to the performance of the trooper when i bought it.
when they first replaced the injector free of charge, hapi ako kc bago injectors ko and assumed that gaganda performance nito... but to think of having paid for the regular PMS and still tinirik ang kotse ko in the middle of the night. and to have my family take the cab home..
third time bumigay again injectors and this time pumasok na sa engine ang tubig... white smoke..and midnight in mandaluyong... its good nakakuha ako ng towing... fully loaded sasakyan ko with 180K worth of setup ng sounds....

then i just realized that this is third time bumigay injector in less than two years... brand new... all service pms done by gencars isuzu.... then they want to charge me 150k...

to all isuzu trooper 2003 owners... im one with you in praying everyday that your trooper will not fail you one day in the middle of the night...and i pray that despite your regular pms.. water will not enter your engine.... i also pray that if in case your engine suffer major damage as a result of the injector... that isuzu will replace and repair your trooper even if you used outside shops for pms without using their authorized service provider...

all hell might suddenly break loose if they did not cover with warranty your injectors and the repairs that will result if they found out that you didnt use their shops.... come to think of it, that could be one reason why they will not cover warranty for your trooper...

to my fellow isuzu trooper owners.

my sincere apologies to the happy owners of isuzu 4jX1 2003 models without problems. and my apologies for the happy owners of 4jG2 engine owners.
i do not wish to create confusion for the happy owners. unfortunately facts remain that i wish to inform my fellow owners. fact 1, we buy brand new cars because it is brand new.. so the price of reliability is P1.5M. fact 2, we use the isuzu dealers for our pms... regularly every 5000km... for a stiff fee of approx 7k per visit... i paid a total of 220,000 less than four years... price of reliability, RESULT? NO RELIABILITY... in fact... ENGINE DESTROYED. cause? defective injectors.... 3 defective in less than 3 years.

my driving habits? city driving... never used for climbing...maximum load of 3 adults and 2 small kids....no accidents..... never put water of coolant because water, coolant, ALL OTHER LUBRICANTS bought from isuzu... they specifically required 2003 trooper owner to use their own oil suplied from japan.. kc sensitive daw ang engine.... the only time i used someting that they did not sell are the air in my tires. other than that isuzu supplied it all... that's why the cost is 220,000.

the reason for this tread is simple...

i do not wish to offend anybody...
i only wish to communicate my frustration and would lke to know if anybody experienced the same problem and would like to join me in doing some action to protect our hard earned money against a company that sold us a defective car.
isuzu might not be aware in 2003 that there are defects in their 2003 isuzu model and realized only after that there were defects and decided against a recall... and decided on a silent recall... silently replacing the injectors whenver we do for a pms.. or whenever there is a complaint.. all in the spirit of goodwill...
my fellow trooper owners... this is not goodwill... this is deception.

my purpose is to inform you that this is happening... and there are a lot of dissatisfied customers who have been victims of delaying tactics and therefore decided to just pay up and be contented,

for your information, the Supreme Court has defined “hidden defects” as “Defects in goods sold which are hidden defects against which the vendor warrants the vendee. The injector in the Trooper is found to be defective three times in the last two years as evidenced by the service record. and was the primary cause for a much bigger damage.
Likewise, the term WARRANTY was also defined by the Supreme Court as “In the case of the sale of merchandise, even in the absence of any stipulation, the vendor impliedly warrants the article sold against hidden defects which make it unfit for the use for which it is intended”.

the damage to the engine made my vehicle unfit for its intended use. and the defect of injectors inside the engine are hidden defects.

in case for those who are interested to learn more about how we can be more creative and imaginative in our ways to deal with isuzu.. im here and still going forward with my complaint with the DTI_BPS.

i still an considering very imaginative ways to address my problem. it seens that whenver i wake up and think about how much money i spent for a relable vehicle and ended up with a lemon... i get more creative and artistic.

thank y0u for your time my fellow isuzu owners and more power to isuzu... they need it now more than ever.

sir paulchua, when they replace your injectors.. did they replace 2 sensors also? one is for the oil sensor and the other is the injectors sensor or somehting.... thos three should go together kc daw sabi ng isang technician sa isuzu.... try other casa kaya and let them try diagnose your trooper.... imposible kc 3 times bumigay ang injectors, the 2nd time ours bumigay, the cause was that the sensors were already semi worn out... and the injectors were not performing well kaya bumigay.... so, the 2 sensors was replaced and so is the injectors.... free.....

AFAIK, Wala naman injection pump ang 4jx1 or any Crdi engine. When i got my Trooper repair they replace RPCV Injectors and sleeve and a lot of faulty oring that is causing the water mixing to engine oil. Cost is 120,000 Including Labor.

i dont know if they replaced the sensor kc they are the specialist and they know best... probably not...... if they didnt then they should take charge..

probably so...both service center and factory should find out how this defect happend... in the meanime im just doing what is fair for me.. and let them do what is fair to them.

but im the one whos sufferring for their delays and the defect in their engine is not my concern, i paid for a defective vehicle and that is my concern.

im just a small businessman and P1.7M is a huge amount for me. compared to isuzu philippines a miltinational with over billions in assests...
what are the odds of me getting it my way?...... very little....

but one thing is for sure... ill make sure i get back every peso that i paid for.
hope other fellow trooper owner shares the same sentiment.
