    Bro.,- O/D or overdrive should be on. It allows you to go into 4th gear.

    If it(O/D) is off, you go only as far as the 3rd gear.

    Od on all the time. Thats why it warns you when its off. You only turn it off when you dont want 4th gear like long steep climbs and descents
