    Jongc,

As Jim mentioned, there are several trooper owners here and might be able to help you maintain your ride. I have a local 98 model. If you need anything, just ask. Hope to see you on our next EB.

thanks guys. first question is where can i find a good shop for parts and accessories for the trooper, surplus or new ones? i think i need a catalytic converter. had mine checked at the muffler shop and the previous owner must have had the insides of it taken out. weird but i understand without it, it causes excessive smoke. hope you can help. tnx again.

    JongC,

Try to PM 4jgtootsie first. He might have the parts you need. Kung wala, try Walco at Banawe. The cater to Isuzu peeps.

    Jongc,

How did you arrive at the conclusion that the internals of the cat were taken out? Sometimes even with a cat, if a vehicle is not properly maintained (in this case by the previous owner), it will really belch out smoke. Try having our injectors diagnosed also as it may need cleaning or calibration.

    WelcomeJongc,

Have questions? Is your unit diesel or gas? What color is the smoke? when do you experience it?
