Ano kaya nga yong nababasa, dahil naranasan ko din yon sa sportivo. medyo mabilis ang takbo at may nabasa yata sa loob ng engine compartment pero nawala din agad.

August 19th, 2010 07:45 PM #13the problem resist parin so i plan to go to wizzard a while ago, pero badtrip biglang ayaw magstart sportivo ko, ginawa ko nagpalit ako ng new battery baka battery lang prob, pero sabi sa akin ng tech sa auto supply na baka alternator daw sira. nung pinalitan na ganon parin problem pero nagstart na siya. so pumunta ako sa wizzard sad to say di ako umabot sa pag gawa pero pinacheck ko sabi baka may problem nga sa alternator. so planning to go back to tom again, ask ko lang mura ba sa wizzard kaysa sa banawe? if pag sa banawe san kaya pwede pagawa? need advice po. sabi kc mahal raw alternator pag papalitan it will cost 10k+

It surprises me that those who looked at your Sportivo seemed to be "guessing" what the cause of the problem. A seasoned and reputable electrician would easily know if it's the alternator, battery or wiring.
For instance, a bad alternator can easily be detected by checking its charging rate. If found defective, he would easily be able to determine which component of the alternator is shot. It does not necessarily mean you need to immediately replace the whole alternator. Components may be replaced if available and if the component to replace would not cost more than just replacing the alternator with a fresh surplus. Checking if the battery is shot is equally "easy" for shops with the right equipment to check it.
Point is, I don't see the need for a "hit and miss" on your problem. And considering yours is a Japanese brand vehicle and virtually new, that should be an easy fix.

August 20th, 2010 03:35 PM #19sir. i have brake light. brake fluid in the reservoir. what is float connection? clean speed sensors? im not sure kung malinis pa ung brake fluid.. wala po ung dmax dito po. nasa province po. have u encounter this problem? basta ABS, handbrake and airbag lumalabas kung tumatakbo. para after a few seconds or minutes nwala ung signal tapos balik na naman
