My problem with the clutch is that its noisy. There's a metallic clicking noise(neutral or in while running in gear) when the clutch is not depressed and a grinding noise when it is depressed. I've already replaced the release bearing and the problem disappeared for a week or two so now i decided to change the whole thing na lang.
another dilemna/concern of mine, diba Exedy yung OEM supplier, i was looking at exedy-australia online catalogue and the clutch replacement kits are different for tfr55 model years 1990-01/2001 and 02/2001-on. For the 01/2001 and below model pareho lang ang clutch kit with the Mu and the older 2.8L trooper. pero iba naman yung 02/2001 and up. yung sa akin is the 2003 model(the last one before the dmax).

What caused the noise? Wrong shifting?Heavy load?
Why replace the flywheel? How are the teeths? How is the face?
Did you replace the pilot bearing? Makapal pa ba ang clutch disk?
Your engine is not common sa Pinas. baka kasi mali ang part na ginamit. Ang 2.8 na 4JB1 sa Pinas is usually mounted on 4X4. Yung sa iyo 4x2. This morning may tiningnan akong engine ng 4JBI na may transmission and transfer case the guy was selling it.
The part no.i gave you is for you specific purpose available ang pressure plate pero out of stock ang disk.

Hindi ko alam ang cause, pero yung initial diagnosis ng mechanic ko was the release bearing(it was kinda loose na daw), sabi niya na ok pa ang iba. nawala totally yung noise pero bumalik ito after around 1 week. So to be on the safe side and not waste much time, im planning to change the whole thing(pressure plate, disc, etc.) na lang. Wala namang noticable effect on the performance of the pick-up, just the noise...
the only thing that was replaced was the release bearing, same size/brand(nsk) yung pinalitan.
Thats the best you can do. Be sure you get the exact pressure plate, clutch disc at pilot bearing. Bro sayang labor kung magbubukas ka pa ulit. Since bukas na rin ang trans mights well check the main oil seal baka malapit na. Knight we are praying na masosolve mo problem ng ride mo. Balitaan mo na lang kami kung anong cause ng ingay. Makikita mo yon sa pyesa may gasgas.

Have a suggestion. Mag isuzu genuine parts ka nalang. Para sure ka sa matching. I heard Cebu based ka, available kasi sa Walco and pressure plate mo but your clutch disk is not. You can try sa Jayson or any isuzu dealer about the avalability of your disk. If you need help in searching for the parts maybe we can help you.
Isuzu genuine ang binibili ko for all the replacement parts, pero i wont buy sa casa(doble ang presyo). I'll try to find it here sa Cebu first and i'll also try to contact Walco baka may kasosyo sila dito sa Cebu.
