aside from the muffler and radiator problems... believe you me... sulit ang makina at pang ilalim (suspension) ng crosswind. basta wag lang maabuso at magka freak accident... it won't fail you. been running my crosswind (xto) for more than 100,000 km...ganon pa rin katipid at kalakas humatak. wala pang nasisira sa suspension although i've had my brake pads and clutch pads/pressure replaced already... which is normal I guess coz I average at least 2,000 kms per month.
yun nga lang, the engine will get noisier as it ages..., nakaka stress din on long drives

Peace!

ok naman yun sportivo. you'll appreciate the thriftness of the engine on diesel. you can reallocate saved funds to your hobbies ;) and since you're married you will even appreciate it more if you have lotsa passengers ranging from the your wife's family to ferrying your own family. unlike a car limited lang yun passengers at pag madami passahero sayad na sya hehehe. and the rain, who could forget it? defintely you'll enjoying going places where cars dare not go hehehe. i think the sportivo has the entertainment system right? thats gravy for talkative passengers!!! hahaha good luck on your ride, hope it gives you no problems.

Finally decided and took home an xti last weekend.

My first impression of driving it around the city for almost a week is..........VERY GOOD!!

I am happy with the purchase. So far, the acceleration is ok. The ride is ok. (Its not really bouncy. Kids are happy in the 3rd row). Engine noise is acceptable. All have been as expected, even better.

I'd surely recommend the Crosswind xti.

Yes crosswind is the start and drive car. I also noticed that the paint quality is durable no sign of fading yet after 6 long years. My only concern is the smoke emission. Outside of casa any reliable shop you can recommend who is good in eliminating the smoke without suppressing the pulling power?
