Hi, I own an Isuzu LS. Ok Siya. Tipid talaga tsaka super tibay. Revery reilable. Things you need to check though when buying 2nd hand are the ball joints, steering damper, tie-rod and ends. Also check the engine for any signs of loose compression.

yup..i own one too...got the 4x4...basically, same engines naman ang mga yan with the fuegos eh (4ja1 and 4jb1t)...mine's cbu from japan, pangalawang LS namin ito, we had the 4x2 previously but sold it...iba talaga pag cbu (from my experience)...never needed suspension parts replace until its 9th year (or 190,000 kms)...everyday used ito...now it already has 197k kms on it. and its still doing fine...just don't expect too much power from it...hehe. parang ang bibigat ng kaha ng mga yan compared to fuegos...d na ba pwede i stretch for a 2nd hand fuego...you can already get 1 with 300k +

workhorse pala talaga ito. Pareho din ba ang hatak ng crosswind and this pick up? I really wanted a fuego kaya lang medyo tight talaga budget. Yung 300th na sinasabi nyo sir, mga anong year kaya yan lumabas? Puede din siguro ipon muna ako. Bihira din kasi ang nagbebenta ng fuego and pick up.

try to check the "for sale" section of 4x4ph..hehe..saw one there...makinis pa with some upgrades. kaya lang 350k ang asking eh...4x2 lang pero 4x4 look...2002 and up na fuego 4x2 na yon...try mo nalang to look around in ortigas...dami dun, autocamp, goldpark, and yung sa tabi ng adb and poveda...

we currently have the 4x2...1996 model den pero single cab long bed sha for company use, hell yeah it will definitely smoke the crosswind, kahit xuvi or xtrm pa. pero shempre, sobrang gaan na kse non. generally same lang dapt kse same engine sila...everything will come down to whichever is lighter.

Hi, I saw a 1998 LS for sale in Buy and Sell. It's only 270K. Search http://www.buyandsellph.com. Keyword "LS" without the quotes. You can also search Fuego.

I already saw one pick-up, 1997 model. When i drove it, i noticed na yung temp reading nya( hindi pala dial type ang thermometer nya) ay below the 1/2 mark. Normal ba yun? Nagtataka lang kasi ako dahil most that i've seen ay malaking ISUZU na nasa middle nakalagay.

Ang alam ko the temp should be in the middle or 1/2 line below the middle. Eto ang normal operating temp ng LS. Dial type.

Kasi ang ganyang badge (small-top-right) ay inilabas Fuego 2002 and above if I'm not mistaken. YOu can buy that from Walco or from any Isuzu casa. Kung ako sa iyo, I will look for another pickup.

Halos na-inspect ko na mga pickup sa buy and sell and i would say almost all of them are in a bad shape.

di kaya sira ang thermostat? I inspected the engine and still okay, walang tumatalsik na langis sa oil filler and dip stick. wala ding mga leaks either from engine or power steering. Anyway, ang condition ko kasi is samahan ako nang seller sa TNG and LTO, kapag na-itransfer na sa akin dun lang mag-bayaran.

sir, AFAIK, isuzu did not release any 2.4 diesel engine locally check mo sir yung model no. ng engine dun sa gilid, just below the valve cover. 4ja1 lang ang nirelease nila dito for the 4x2 models.baka naman nagkamali lang yung owner; I think it was 1997 when the first batches of the fuegos were released; yung sa isuzu badge naman sa tail gate, i think the 96 model like mine did not have it embossed, sticker nalang sha kaya i had mine removed and you can easily get isuzu oem badge/sticker from the casa naman; about the temp...yes below the 1/2 mark is normal

Wala naman sigurong problema ito otherwise di sila papayag na kasama silang mag-transfer and ,magbayaran lang after the transfer of ownership.

Yeah, looks like it. My heart skipped a beat when i saw it the first time. It actually exceeded my expectation, considering its price and age. I will post pics as soon as i get it. Thanks to all who answered, beetols, fuego 4x2, etc.
