Most of the isuzu trooper 4jx1 model has some sort of probs with their unit.But as far a one of the owner of this vehicle , I can say I had my thumbs up.Maybe those who are experiencing some headaches with their troops have some things more to be done.Lahat naman ng sasakyan meron flaws yan.Its up for the user to limit those flaws.One of the most effective way is your regular check-up.Maybe these cars needs more tender than usual SUVs.Mine is superb as far as I can say.Not to brag ... I have the best MPG from my trooper since I've owned a car.The latest I 've clocked is 28 km/ltr on highway driving.Thats no joke.....Ive tested it again on city driving and it averages 17 km/ltr...Some of my buddies taught I was bragging but I put them up on my troop and went to gas station ,fill her up full tank and drove 112 km on a 90-120 kph run and then went back to the filling station and guess what ..4 ltrs only.the pump boy was even shock to noticed.My buddies cannot help but only wave their heads as a sign of confirmation.My tech is I didnt pass the 2500 rpm and the auto tranny would shift at around 1500 rpm....stay light on the gas pedal.Pag arangkada ng sasakyan konting apak lang sa gas ,pag mark ng rpm ng 1500 bitaw konti sa gas para mag shift sya to second gear. Cruising at 100 kph should be around 1500 to 2200 rpm depende sa level ng highway.Pag nagawa nyo yan. for sure you can noticed the difference sa gas consumption.Tire pressure is also a factor.Always check if four tires have the same pressure.

I am new in this interesting thread.

I would like to know if you know somebody who can fix the cluster gauge of trooper 4jx1 2005 model. My trooper was submerged in flood long before and it is only now that I am trying to fix it. The cluster gauge is very expensive as more than 20k as per jayson's/walco's.

All other major concerns such as injectors have been replaced brand new.

I would appreciate your prompt reply. Thanks much

bro, we have the same case.My trooper was also submerged in flood, halos 6mos. siya sa casa. Pinalitan din ng bago yung mga kelangang palitan. But when narelease ung trooper ko sa casa, sira pa din yung cluster meter. I waited 2mos. for the cluster meter to be shipped to isuzu casa. Tinry ko na din paayos ung cluster meter ng trooper ko sa banawe, hindi nila magawa. kaya pinalitan ko siya ngayon ng bago galing nga sa casa w/c is 27k, yun nga lang back to 0 ang odometer mo.
Pero mas masaya ako ngayon sa trooper ko kesa nung bago pa siya nabaha. Kasi marami talagang napalitan. Parang bnew baga. Repainted, Bagong leather seats, carpets, pinalitan ko nadin ng mags, decals, headlights, sound system etc. parang biglang na PIMP MY RIDE. hahaha! un nga lang masakit lang sa bulsa. N
gayon wala nakong problema sakanya mas masaya pako.

bro sa traffic dito sa metro manila ganyan talaga ang city driving at highway driving km per liter ng trooper kasi traffic din lagi minsan sa highway hehehe

just installed a OSRAM Night Breaker yesterday sa banawe, 1k lang kuha ko sakanya. The output is very good at sobrang linaw na sa daan, But it's not that white parang stocks lang siya, pero ok nadin.

Tnx bro for your inputs. I'll try to have it fixed muna sa reliable electrician, baka makuha, the cost is quite prohibitive for 27k eh, wala na ako budget after spending for brand new injectors and other basic parts

For almost 3 years na, Royal Purple 5w-30 oil ang gamit ko. Ok naman. Difference is wala yung sobrang baho na usok from the besco.

Bro sa walco tel. no.7110277, 7110299 canvass ka muna. Kung yung bumper mo may butas na tamang tama ang OE na foglight sakto yung bracket sa butas.

Mahal sobra ang OEM fogs ng trooper. Makakabili ka na ng hella commet 450 with HID nyan.
