Yes sir, pane langan Isuzu (lumang Crosswind a magka-bukbuk na peru asne pa tibe at more than 300,000 km neh a-viaje, ompong DMax's)

Kindly keep us posted sir regarding the service at Isuzu Pampanga, especially the type of fully-synthetic oils they have if you can share any tip. Just in case pala sir you want to go fully-synth now, ask them if they have the Mobil Delvac Gold 5W-40 or Motul Specific CRDi 5W-40. Mas masanting ya yng Mobil sir

    Thanks sir. Kind regards.

Sir, for the fully-synthetic Mobil Delvac 5W-40 parang aabot ka ng PhP6,500 if i remember correctly.... and this is for the purchase of the oil alone, 8 litres in total. Yet, the benefit of this is you get to change this AFTER 10,000 km, not every 5000 km. Not all the 8-litre oils will be consumed at a one-go, perhaps around 7.70 litres, not really sure though pero may matitira pa. Take home the remaining oil, as this will be your top-up when you change your oil filter (not change oil) after 5000 km, assuming during the replacement of the oil filter, not much of the engine oil will come out.

The Mobil Delvac is good because it has a high-total base number (TBN) of around 13.0 which is good to deal with our high-sulphur diesel fuel, say the Petron Diesel Max. The Motul CRDi Specific 5W-40 has only 8. But the Isuzu semi-synthetic oil Besco 10W-30 even has a higher TBN of around 14, if i'm not mistaken. But, it is not fully-synthetic and you have to thoroughly change it every 5000 km, as Isuzu stated.

Since our DMax's are no longer in warranty, what i just do is purchase Mobil Delvac 5W-40 in other dealers and we personally do our change oils. All the rest in the maintenance checklist handbook, i get Isuzu do it sir.

    Goodluck!
