sabi sa inyo he sounds like a salesman

may vested interest kaya ganyan dating niyaif you have no vested interest why are you so concerned that other people might think negatively of the i-van after reading this thread?
what's it to you?
what do you lose?
why are you affected?
it's gotta be more than your being an Isuzu fanboi
you registered to join tsikot forums just to post in this thread
why? can't stand reading the negative comments here? why?
You're already being lenient with him, would have banned that guy earlier for using TXTspeak. His posts are so confusing to read. The way he was so fanatic with defending Isuzu made one think he was DMaxAhihihoho reincarnate.
ang punto ko isuzu is a trusted brand wen it comes to trucks...and i-van is an nhr truck,,,, kahit ibang kapwa jap brand my tiwala sa isuzu.. it just prove na ok ang mga isuzu trucks.... un lang.. simple.. we dont know wat kind of engine gagawin ng isuzu sa toyota cars.. pero 4 sure isuzu engine un..
with proper configuration of seats ika nga, gyahin n lang ung config ng urban na 18 seater-pero 6x6 sa likod ung side facing..mjo pataasan n konti.. pwde sya maging 23 people carrier by weekdays (except for coding), maybe a bottled delivery truck van by saturday(sideline) then off by sunday..
foton, also uses(daw)isuzu engines.. if thats tru, we cn say n sobrang reliable/durable tlg ng mga isuzu engines.. khit china brands gmgamit ng isuzu..
actually normal maintenance lng naman sa isuzu, it can last up to a million mileage b4 overhauling.. karamihan nga balik zero n nga daw..
Mondragon = isuzu fanatic = isuzu salesguy = hindimaxiado
i-van = joke van from isuzu = scam = GTOil = Rapide
i-van thread = i-ban na ulit si mondragon dahil sa txt speak
![]()
This "Mondragon" dude is hard headed.
Simply post in messages that a NORMAL person would type and he wouldn't get banned for SMS/TXT infractions.
BTW, Mondragon, you have been banned again (2nd time) and your posts have been "MODERATED".

These textspeak can be quite a headache to read. Even on my text messages i type fully and as coherently as possible even if the keypads on my 6 year old Ericsson are funky.
You gotta give it to Isuzu, they do produce quite a number fanboys who will move heaven and earth just to push that it's a superior product, bar none.
look at what Isuzu sells in the US
look what the N-series is used for
look at the N-series bodies
Isuzu Commercial Vehicles - Low Cab Forward Trucks - Commercial Vehicles - N-Series Exterior Photo Gallery
none of them are used to haul people
same in the UK
Isuzu Trucks - Commercial Trucks, Truck Contract Hire, Dropside, Trucks, UK

Ang problem sa atin is we are what manufacturers refer to as 'non-legislated' markets. Meaning, our rules on vehicles are not that stringent.
For me, ok lang naman iyon since we can modify our vehicles as how we want them. Unlike in other markets (e.g. Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, etc.) where modifications are either not allowed or require tedious paperworks just to make road legal.
The bad news is, manufacturers may take advantage of this by offering products whose performance, build quality, and other aspects are not really up to par with what is generally acceptable. So it's a buyers beware market for us. Unlike if you grab a car in the U.S., all models will have seatbelts, ABS, and SRS already as well as complete pollution control equipment (ok, so I confess I like taking the anti-pollution bits out sometimes).
This thread is about the I-Van. A vehicle format that is popular in that other non-legislative market of Malaysia. The land where even the L300 Versa Van is still produced locally (also with a cheaper swing door on the side unlike the sliding doors we have here). This thread is not about Isuzu 80 ton trucks, their marine engines or whatever. We are here to discuss about the Isuzu I-van.
People who keep commenting about how Isuzu does this or that, how they sell so many trucks, etc. are obviously using what is known as the 'halo' effect. Manufacturers typically produce these 'halo' (as in an angel's halo) cars in the hope that the good image it has will rub off to the lesser models in the line up despite halo cars not really selling in huge numbers. It's akin to saying that the Chevy Aveo is a great car because it comes from the same people that made the Corvette and Camaro (two of GM's halo cars).
Isuzu may make great marine engines, help Toyota with whatever they want, etc. but if you are a car buyer, you are paying for a piece of metal to take home. You are not buying a logo or an image. If it's a bad car in today's standard, it wouldn't matter even if Bugatti started building I-Vans today. It will still have a lukewarm reception among people who actually know a thing or two about vehicles.
