Safety is a fair reason, but when the company is intruding too much in the personal life of its employees it's quite frightening...

Employees may get a bank loan if their chosen vehicle do not meet the requirements. Shell wont mind as long sa the company isnt paying, =)

Sure, but that's what I consider an intrusion in the employees' personal life. Since Shell is not paying it shouldn't demand how the employee's car should be fitted.

Hehe.

Andun yung jaws of life. And ang takbo niya kadalasan ay to the nearest hospital. =)

Awkward yung door na di sliding for a van.

First time ako nag drive truck based van at di ko nagustuhan Acceleration. Ride comfort kahit slow drive lang is terrible as a driver and as a passenger.

Namimili ako between ivan and hiace commuter.

Btw, I was also impressed with the payload of this ivan. Yung hi ace commuter kc pwede daw unscrew seats.

Forums really do have an influence in deciding which vehicle to buy. Thank you sa lahat ng comments nyo dito. Dami ko rin natutunan.

Better to get an FB style van if you're going to do cargo.

Wala headrest at di rin nare-recline all rear seats. Kaya back to hunting na naman ng alternative 14-seater or more na van.

imo parang maganda lang ivan pang school bus, ambulance, etc. yes it's got character and gallantry of an isuzu. but not "galant" as the commuter that could be taken to an evening ball.

Just when I thought I would not be seeing an I-van in the months to come, I saw 2 in the same morning, yesterday. Hahaha! 1 in ortigas, and 1 in makati. It doesn't seem as imposing as, say, a Super Grandia, but it is chunky. Pwede nang macho kung sa macho. But look were all I had, coz both were parked when I saw them.

    *ronronsantos,
FB style nga ang kelangan for cargo hauling. Yung dating Starex H-1 na bare for business purposes, ok din sana IMO. You could get a Commuter and do some conversion on the seats. Instead of a 15 seater, you could ditch the last row and adjust a bit accordingly so you get a bit more legroom and still have cargo space.

Yung tipo na kaya nila gawin any configuration na gusto mo at readliy available materials like jumpseats, upholstery at folding mechanisms?

I haven't seen one up close pero I've heard a lot of negative comments.

Finally saw one in person. Mehhh.

Cringed at the front fascia, cringed at the side door, cringed at the rims, hay....

When I'm driving the MB100, I always tell myself this has got to be way better than the I-Van. And the MB140 (long wheelbase) was also capable of seating 15 persons in relative comfort.

Yung isang ninong ko merong Isuzu NKR with the 4HG1 engine na ginawa niyang FB body for business use.
