calibration sa makati ako nagpapacalibrate since then, sobrang mapapagtiwalaan sa betan calibration. kumpleto sila sa factory settings and authorized cla.check mo previous threads

mga bosing, i-share ko lng ung experience ko sa pag-test drive nung nasa ads na slx 2001...ginawa ko po ung advice ni sir ramledi, pagtapos po namin i-test drive binuksan ko po ung oil cap while idle, eh nagtalsikan ung oil at pati ung damit ko natalsikan malakas ung pressure (dapat siguro before i-test drive eh gagawin ung procedure na un while idle), pati ung dipstick puno ng tagas hanggang sa belly pan ba un..mahina din ang hatak at marami pagagawa...handbrake di gumagana, brake nya kailangang bobombahin ng 2 beses bago kumagat...clutch masyadong malalim..eh sabi ng father ko parang walang compression dahil walang damba at matagal ang response ng makina...for overhaul na daw un. tsaka ung plate nya starts w/ "C"...

baka meron po kau ma-irecommend mga bossing...

Wag nyo po bilhin yan, gagasto kayo na malaki dyan, promise.

May marka ng tagas ang master brake cylinder mo, naayos na ba yan?

Sa akin dec 2000 SLX model, reliable pa rin gamitin kaya lang nakaka annoy ang lagutok sa front left & right door hinges. Sakit talaga ng rides natin ito. Bihira lang gamitin usually running errands lang kaya 86K++ kms. pa lang ang tinakbo.

Mga naging problema:
1. Nag-leak ang oil cooler 4 yrs ago. Pinalitan ng brand new cooler with different design from stock. Hindi na umulit ang sakit.
2. Lumusot ang clutch 3 years ago. Pinalitan ang lower repair kit, ok na till todate. Pinalitan ang busted front brake hose.
3. Opened up cylinder head (wala lang, sinipag lang ako) 3 yrs ago just to check condition of the cylinder wall, still good. Derecho top overhaul na rin.
4. Changed all tires after 7 years in light-service.
5. 6 years ago. Ninakaw ang fiberglass wrap ng front bullbar. Hindi ko na pinalitan, ayaw ko bigyan ng hanapbuhay ang mga bwisit na magnanakaw.
6. Napansin ko lang, every 2 years kailangan ko magpa wheel alighnment kasi lumalaki ang kabig. Sakit na ito ng highlander, ito rin problema ng kakilala ko.
7. Hindi ako komportable sa steering wheel sa long drive kaya bihira ko lang gamitin. Hindi ko lang alam kung ano ang pakiramdam ng nakaupo sa 2nd seat. Madalas kasi ako ang driver.

Still keeping this AUV para sa mga pagkakataon na kailangan ang kanyang versatility e.g. weekly marketing needs, to transport 5 person or more, picking up incoming relatives with baggages from airport, etc.
One good vehicle for a normal utility need..and yes with extra back massage due to vibration typical of 4JA1 engine.

yup sir weisshorn, dati pa yun, kaya me white paint. yung cylinder is a taiwan replacement, pero ok naman. Totoo sbi mo hirap dalin sa long drive. Pareho tyo unit sakin 99 SLX, tough and reliable

Any chance you had your steering box checked? Some adjustments may still do the trick. If not, a machine shop job may be in order.
