Ideal idle is:
+/-750rpm (without aircon)
+/-800rpm (with aircon)
If these are the idle setting you have and it still vibrates like hell, you may want to check the engine supports (as already mentioned by rion)

try to bleed the fuel line. air might be present in the fuel system.
try changing the fuel filter also, it might be clogged.

hello po, meron po ba separate thread or forum for hilander rides? napag iwanan na yata kaming hilander owners, he he. hirap kasing mag search sa crosswind thread, wala masyado nababanggit tungkol sa hilander. I would just want to do some diy maintenance and repairs and some improvements if doable. a separate thread filled with owners'(past or present)experiences, modifications etc would be very helpfull.

kid, iisa lang makina ng hilander at crosswind. pati electricals, tranmission, and chassis magkapareho yata. in fact, hilander parts can be used sa crosswind. yung body lang pinagkaiba. so kung diy repairs ang kelangan mo, you can pickup pointers dun sa crosswind thread. meron din naman mga nakahilander dito. ang pinakagwapo eh si frankdebbin, :D tanungin mo lang sya via private msg.

October 7th, 2009 03:11 PM #16Hi guys, good day 2 all of you. Bago lang po ako dito
I just bought a 2nd hand isuzu hilander 99 model last month.
So far engine performance is good as well as its fuel consumption.
Medyo may kalawang na rin underchassis and body.
My concern is, napansin ko na wala palang nakakabit na fuel filter and pati yung kabitan nya wala din. Im confused why is it running? May epekto ba to sa engine pag tumagal na walang fuel filter? Ano kaya possible na maging defect later pag hindi nakabitan agad? Hope this forum can share something with my concerns. More power to this forum and God bless...

No fuel filter??? Yup, a vehicle can run without a fuel filter BUT you are in exposing yourself from (very) high risk that fuel contaminants may get in the engine.... lalo na diesel-fed pa yung sasakyan mo.
As it's name says, the fuel filter FILTERS entry of fuel contaminants to the engine.

nasa driver side po ang filter ng hilander nasa tabi lang ito ng brake fluid naka mount ito sa gilid
para itong oil filter na maliit
made of metal ito tapos nakabaliktad ang position nito
