Good news for trooper owners... but does this mean
...good bye Isuzu Club (DC.org chapter) ..... stillborn ICDCC natin master boknoyXTRM. Isuzu Hilander/Fuego club na lang kaya... :D
    here's the whole article

Isuzu forms a club for Trooper owners

Wanted: Strong sturdy but sophisticated type who likes long drives to far-flung places and is not afraid to get dirty.

So maybe you and your trusty Isuzu Trooper have a special relationship, having shared some intimate moments together, in long stretches of Manila traffic or in isolated little hideaways in the boondocks.

Through it all, your Trooper has been faithful and dependable. You're satisfied with its consistent performance but perhaps a nagging voice inside of you wants something more. Maybe you're thinking it's time you and your Trooper reached out and met other Troopers and Trooper owners.

If you own an Isuzu Trooper, chances are you have an inclination towards the great outdoors but don't necessarily agree that luxury has to be compromised for the sake of utility. With the Trooper's power to take you to out-of-the-way spots, maybe you'd like to share those mountain tops with others who can keep your pace.

If you own an Isuzu Trooper and are longing for the company of kindred spirits to share your journey, then Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC), like the love doctor, has the remedy.

In line with its company policy of "Customer Satisfaction No. 1," IPC recently launched the Trooper Club.

    Club kickoff
Held at the Casa Manila Patio in Intramuros, Manila last May 31, the formal kickoff of the Trooper Club brought together Isuzu officials and Trooper owners.

"In Isuzu, we have always put the customer at the top of our priority list... From product planning to after-sales, customer needs and concerns are the prime movers of our actions," IPC executive vice-president Kazuhiko Sho said.

The Isuzu Trooper Club was conceptualized to give the customers an avenue where they can enjoy the best of service, privileges, and activities that can be offered.

Kenneth Tan, a car shop owner and Trooper owner sees the club as "stress relief" for Isuzu enthusiasts.

"It's a way to express your love for your car," Mr. Tan said. "The privileges can't be contained to individual ownership."

Bong Casis, a neurosurgeon, and yes, Trooper owner, echoed Mr. Tan's sentiments. The club is like a support group where members can "have a place to ask people with first-hand experience" about what its like to own a Trooper.

Among others, the club is seen as a place for Trooper owners to acquire technical information and assistance, and the opportunity to share common interests in automobiles, lifestyle, profession and the like through social and automotive-related activities.

    Medical mission
As an initial activity, IPC conducted "First Step," a medical mission for the Dumagats in the Karahumi Settlement Area in Bulacan last September.

The cause-oriented activities are conducted in far-flung communities not so easily accessible except with a rugged vehicle like the Trooper.

IPC, however, is specifically targeting Trooper owners who purchased their cars between 1997 and 2002 from its dealership network. But any immediate family of a Trooper owner can also become a member.

So if you fit the profile, know what you're looking for and have been secretly longing for more spice in your relationship with your Trooper, Isuzu understands and is there for you. -- Friena P. Guerrero

feeling ko hindi magtatagal ang mga ganyang club na sponsored ng mga big companies. for one, hindi sasali dyan lahat ng trooper owners lalo na't nahihiya sila dahil mga big time or sikat ang mga first batch of members.

ginagawa na nila lahat ng paraan to sell due to their very bad after-sales reputation at slow sales... tsk tsk
