    Thats my point, possible ba?

If its econo-run meaning controlled speed and RPM increase tire pressure para maka kuha ng high FC..

may naka sali na ba sa mga ganitong event ng Isuzu dito? may price pa daw na 15T sa winner..

Lolz..... again i second the motion yun sinabi ni "rna800" 12.3 to 12.5 mix city and highway driving. Ako din kc ganun ang FC ko minsan i can reach 12.6 pa nga eh. talked to a friend also that he was planning to join the econo run of Isuzu. I guess the econo run is true but I don't have the details on the consumption of the entries.

Guys, I noticed that there is a "twik" sound in my truck while it's running. It's a hiccupping sound. Nevertheless, I don't find anything weird with how it runs. That sound happens at low and high speeds like 100 to 120. Sometimes even from 1st to 2nd gear I could hear that sound already. Also, when I was driving along Star tollway yesterday, I noticed that it made this squeaking sound - sounds like a fan belt sliding. I notice that mostly on old cars like when you start it the morning, you'll hear that whistling/squeaking sound coming from the engine bay. Not the high pitched sound but it's like the "chhuuwaaaahhh" sound. It's long and it's loud. I even got startled when I heard that. It didn't sound anymore on my way home, though. What do you think are those sounds?

I just wanna share this too. I went to Mimosa last Sat. and on my way home, around 4am, I tried to really put the pedal to the metal in NLEX after the toll gate. I noticed that once it reaches 160 to 165, the speedometer would already slow down and slowly inching its way up. I really didn't wanna run at that speed but the bus behind me provoked me.hehe At first I was running 100 then 120 then 140 but he was still at my back wanting to overtake. So I said, let's see if you're bus could run at 160. I didn't see him anymore after.hehe However, I to my surprise, this 4x4 hilux was trailing me and even overtook me. I had a great time driving with him at such high speeds. I couldn't lose him but he couldn't lose me either.

Maybe those challenges are true but the thing is what are the unspoken details on how they achieved those. Like the one from Pagudpud so Sorsogon (correct me if I am wrong on this with regards to the places) challenge. I could only speak from Manila to Pagudpud (back and forth) since I have tried driving there with my other car. When I drove my way up there, I needed to gas up in Ilocos Sur (full tank). On my way back, I gas up again in San Fernando, La Union. I drove max around 130 kph and of course, always, downshifting to overtake cars. The thing is, it makes me wonder on how they did that with just 1 full tank with such a lengthy journey considering that they will pass in Metro Manila down to SLEX. There are so many questions bogging me like how many days did it take, what time of the time, did they have police escort to direct traffic, such and such... Same with the short journey challenges. Oh well, maybe that 40+ kms/liter was really achieved but perhaps it was done during the wee hours and at a speed of around 40 kph.
