Reverse or Drive talagang walang response.

*sleepcare - Thank you so much sir! sana nga OK yung nakuha kong unit. may mga ilan lang akong problema:

*Ray_An-Basta Crosswind, siguradong OK! Yung alarm mo, may gagawin ka. Kasi naka-valet mode yan. I-search mo nalang. Tapos yung sa usok, normal lang yan. Ganyan din yung saamin nung bago pa. Pero pag-tagal, mawawala din yan.

    ganito ginawa ko:
    - start the engine, press the button at the side panel for about 5 seconds
    - while the engine is still running, press and hold the lock button until the chirp sound was heard
    - switch off the engine

    Congrats on your new XTi!

The button I am referring to is at the fusebox located at the side of the dashboard (driverside). You will see this when you open the driverside door. Remove the cover and you'll see a small red button.

Good day mga sir,im a newbie here,an ofw from malaysia.i just got my xuv 2011 a week ago and excited to use it when i get back home.im an isuzu engine user from those days, from jeepneys, owner type jeep.isuzu surplus engine is as durable as a brand new,how much more for a brand new xuv.im use to the engine sound of those isuzu gemini,c240,4bc2.in which, the louder it sounds the tougher it last.as we know its because isuzu are using timing gear ika nga eh 'built to last'..lets make a comparison-a c190 isuzu engine vs 2c diesel of toyota since the 70's if im not mistaken, which of this engine u see more on the street until now?
Ive been reading some of the thread berore i got my ride,im learning alot ang gathering more infos about crosswind, and yes there are pros and cons but i still believe on isuzu's reliabilityand durability.
Keep up the experience we all share in this forum so we can enjoy our ride..

As I have posted in a related query, you can run your brand new Crosswind (or any car for that matter) at any speed you wish PENDING prior to a run, make sure your engine is in it's recommended operating temperature.

BREAK-IN are advised only for newly-overhauled engines wherein for the first 1,000 kms, one should run the vehicle at varying speeds (60-110km/h) with (ideally) aircon off.
