you all know that isuzu USA is in deep s_it right now:they're down to just 1 vehicle, the Ascender. there was talk back then after the Rodeo and Axion were killed that a D-max based SUV will be released stateside. then came the news that it's not going to happen. Now i know why: this SUV won't cut it in America where competition is fierce. what was isuzu thinking?

onli n d pilipins. 1.2M for a great-looking, almost high-end SUV that never came and 1.4M for a not so great-looking SRV that ... ewan ... hehehe

sana gawin na lang ng Mitsu na 200k discount sa fieldmaster (now retailing at 1.7M - 100k discount), sigurado lahat ng SUV buyers mapapaisip ng husto ...

a lady isuzu sales rep in isuzu pasig told us that demo units will arrive by next month. Malakas pakiramdam namin ni mbt na nakita kami ni ISPG_babe while checking out the Alterra.

btw, there will be a display daw sa glorietta ng Alterra?

Again, the 3rd row seat design of this Alterra should be enough to have this vehicle banned by the government as a great risk to passenger safety. In the event of a collision, those people sitting at the 3rd row seat will most likely get killed with a broken neck due to whiplash. If you survive the neck injury, you will most likely get a broken back.

This is not a survivable car. And you are telling me funeral white is more expensive than the other colors????? Neat!

Anyway, in your opinion, what workable improvements can Isuzu do to the Alterra's looks? :question:

I've seen the Alterra. And, I think it would look better if it was lifted and had 265/70 R16 tires instead of the 245/70 R16 tires it currently sports. What do you think?

for a vehicle that is first and foremost a people mover, it fails miserably hehe. don't discount the interior and accessibility so easily hehe.

to fix the exterior? well... hmm... tanggalin nalang nila yung bubong at quarter windows, pati yung rear hatch. that's right, bili ka nalang ng D-Max

man, isuzu must have been in a mad scrabble to get that out of the market after finding out about their competition.

then they want how much?! for something that's based on a TRUCK!? that's a lot of mark-up IMO.

i remember poseur.4x4.org <---where they slammed the ford expedition for bring that much more expensive than an F150.
