i saw one displayed at isuzu pasong tamo last night.

I have to go with danbuzz here, I mean, even if we assume that the fortuner has a really inefficient gearbox and that much more weight, the extra 20hp will easily cover it.

Pure power means there's no tranny or anything that will reduce the crank output of an engine.

the best way to feel and see the difference of the said SUV is to test drive both. Like mazdamazda and theveed said, mahirap mag assume.

ang panget nga eh.. dmax lng na pnatungan ng roof sa likod... iba parin ang fortuner. panalo tlga sa looks, interior, and power

Head-to-head comparison sa looks pwede. Pero kung comparison sa hatawan a BIG NO unless we test drive both with DIESEL Engines.
Assuming darating dito yung Diesel variant ng Fortuner sa August then we can make a head-to-head comparison sa "HATAWAN" at "TOURQUE".

panget yun lang and the leg room sa likod parang yung knee mo ata nakataas....... id definitely go with fortuner based on the pricing

grabe dvd lang at 5.1 system lang ang nilagay nila to compensate for the pricing..... kinda pathetic... dont u think
