    Launched last night at the Sangrila makati is the recofigured D-max the Alterra in a nut shell a D-max station wagon Sorry guys no 4x4 for this guy not soon anyway...........

    Prices vary according to its audio equiptment and color YES....... Color

    Top of the line Manual 4x2 1,434,000

    Top of the line matic 1,489,000

    remember 4x2 yan a fortuner 4x4 is 1,495,000...............

    Would you know what other features it has? ABS, SRS perhaps? How about the interior, any leather appointments? Or is it just like the Fortuner inside? It is quite pricey for a 4x2.

    No abs no leather but a 5.1 entertainment system witha all medium head unit and sub woofer. My 2 cents a bit pricey for a 4x2

    I've seen the Altera in Isuzu Imus last Saturday, fresh from the plant or kung san man galing... I admire the space on 2nd and 3rd row seat. Also the dual aircon positions looks cool. I took few pictures of it kaso phone cam lang ang ginamit ko kaya di masyadong maganda ang quality.

    OT: 20vanda01 thanks for the info. puntahan ko Isuzu Imus sa Sabado.

    From the looks of it, the design is dissappointing The interior does not justify the the high price, even if it has DVD and 5.1 sound. The exterior well it looks basic. I'm still going to test drive it though for handling comparisons.

    jim, not sure kung aabutan mo pa this Sat, sabi kasi sa Isuzu Imus, dadalhin daw nila sa SM Dasma for display. Daan ka na lang muna sa Imus bago ka punta ng SM Dasma, baka meron na silang additional units sa Imus.

    fortuner interior looks better..pati na rin exterior..isuzu should lower the price..kahit 1.3M to compete with the 4x4 fortuner considering 4x2 lng yan. people would flock to the 1.2M fortuner imo

    Sorry but Alterra GOES WITH ABS...

    I test drove the Alterra over the weekend.... Kung hataw lang, mukhang mapapahiya ang Fortuner despite its publicized 163 horses (vs. 146 hp for the Alterra) >>> 146 hp of PURE POWER!

    hirap mag "compare" kasi without actually seeing or driving the car... nakaka mislead sometimes...

    I test drove both Fortuner and Alterra.. and I beg to disagree with your claim. 163Hp is 163Hp.. cant go wrong with the numbers. considering the size compared to Hp and Torque of the Alterra, I think its underpowered. Jusst my opinion..
