To Isuzu's credit, they have a better implementation of the 4WD system compared to that of Toyota's. Isuzu utilizes push-buttons to activate and shift the 4WD syste, (eg H, HL, LL,etc.). In contrast, Toyota utilizes a stick shift for the same purpose, which, imo, is less desirable because of imprecision during shifting.

I must say, though, that to most off-roaders and even to some recreational off-roaders (and posers), the stick shift system is a lot more desirable. IMO, the push buttons seem like a feminine touch.

Ganda siguro pag all black yang Alterra with those chrome grilles and door handles.

oh no! I'm not a fan of big chrome grills.

"On the outside, the Alterra 4x4 is immediately distinguished from the 4x2 by the chromed radiator grille and door handles (those on the 4x2 are body-colored) and a simple 4WD logo sticker at the back."

wow! it is priced really nice...

I find the Alterra's interior more to my liking than the generic and bland Fortuner. nice touches like 3rd row handlebars, flush aircon, removable 2nd row middle seat, etc.

though it is still a matter if you can live with an exterior that looks downright weird on some angles (like the side view) and nice (like the rear quarter view) on some.

I'd rather have the X-trail tapos keep na lang yung sukli. Or a CR-V.

Mas ok sana kung stick shift 4x4 yong Altera kasi parang fake kung push button or switch yong 4x4. I agree wd Vicoyski. IMHO

I wonder what kind of resale value(s) can we expect from Isuzu.
