Slightly OT: I know there are a good number of cheap but reliable HID kits out there but one key to prolong your HID (ballast, igniter, bulb and battery) is to install a grounding kit. I have proven this effective when I wasted 2 sets of HID on my Trooper (didn't even last 1.5 years) but since I installed a grounding kit, it's been 2 years and still going strong.

I got the HID set for P2,500 (x2 since I had the foglights in HID too) + P2,000 (i think) for the grounding kit. My apologies for the rough photo but the Grounding Kit looks like this. (blue cables)
