March 14th, 2004 04:15 PM #1sira na naman ang pipe A ng xwind ko and its going to take isuzu alabang an eternity na naman to replace it. anyway, ive decided to take matters into my own hands (the aggravation is not worth the waiting )because the design improvements they've promised are so crappy. Seems all problems stem from its small flexible pipe. Any suggestions?

Kung under warranty pa eh pa welding mo nalang muna para mahitay mo yung kapalit.

My XTO had the same problem. Cracks on pipe B while the tail pipe at pipe C fell off. Isuzu Cavite welded the damage while I waited for 2 weeks for the replacements. Kaya medyo mabilis e sumulat ako sa isuzu thru their web site and asked that the parts be delivered to isuzu cavite who by the way has a very good service. Kala ko solved na yung problem pero after six months, naputol naman yung pipe A. Wala na daw stock ang isuzu during that time so I decided to have the 4 inch flexible pipe replaced with a 10 inch one (same location sa pipe A) bago masira pa yung ibang pipes.

If wala nang warranty, i'd suggest an aftermarket approach already. YOu can try shops like SMT, NOdalos, Freemuff, etc.
On the larger diameter piping, this may help improve performance a bit if you're using a turbo model XTO but i'm not sure to what extent since the boost is relatively low (turbo engines are usually more responsive to intake and exhaust mods).

Sorry for the late responds friends.
Anyway, doon ako nagpa kabit ng flexible pipe sa exhaust pipe shop almost in front of ISUZU CAVITE along Aguinaldo Hi way. Forgot the name pero yung shop has the word "FIX" sa name nya. Post ko na lang later pag nakita ko yung calling card.
I spent P2K lang after nego. sa ibang shops kasi P2.5K to P3.5K tapos 6 inches lang.
BTW, tanong ko lang: Sa XTO A/T lang ba may problem ang exhaust pipe? May problem din ba yung sa XTO M/T na pipe? If I'm not mistaken, magkaiba ang pipe A nila.
Thanks.Last edited by TEAL; June 9th, 2004 at 11:45 AM.

One dude told me it was Li-Ion. Another dude corrected him. AFAIK the Zenix gets the Li-Ion hence...
