    or your could be the springs inside the injection pump putol na, have seen a lot of this happened on the 4jai engines but the symptoms are no power above 3000rpm, may hesitation, try mo to pa check for air leaks injection pump mo if the so called ignition coil (mayroon ba diesel ignition coil) is not the culprit.

    mukhang ganito na nararamdaman ko sa hi lander namin. hanggang 3000 rpm na lng kaya pero 120kph naman ang speed. ung springs sa injection pump po kaya un?

    jun::: Baka naman nasa peak ng power rate band sa 3000 rpm yung inyo. Kung may diperensya yan sa injection pump, mahihirapan na kayo paabutin ng 100km/h yan.

    I noticed that there are only three wires going to the ignition coil. One pair is connected to the left side, and a single wire connected to the back (orientation is hood open looking towards the engine). Could someone please enlighten me on the purpose of these wires? I'm sure one is for power, as removing the "engine-x" fuse in the fuse panel inside the pickup shutsdown the engine. I can't remember which fuse (engine-1 or engine-2). Removing one fuse shuts down the engine, removing the other fuse doesn't seem to affect the running engine.

    I believe there's no ignition coil sa diesel engine. Wala namang spark plugs yan e. Instead try checking out the wiring for the injection pump solenoid. It runs sa back ng engine near the fire wall. Tapos it goes to the side of the injection pump. Minsan kasi yung wire sa may likod ng engine nagground sa block or minsan napuputol na. Its one cause of engine stalling for Fuegos and IPVs not common on Hilanders though.

    agreed *UBS73 walang IGNITION COIL yan kaya napakamot ako nang ulo dun ah,,


    try mo ang suggestion ni UBS73, Pero ang prob nito pre pag kailangan ibaklas yun ang madugo pero still you can visually check it out

    I have been working on gasoline engines for so long that I subliminally type ignition coil when I refer to the INJECTION PUMP. My mistake sirs. Anyway question on the wires going to the injection pump, which one should I check. There is one wire going to the back of the injection pump and another (wire pair) going to the side of the pump. Does anyone know the purpose of each wire?

    I really can't tell you because I can't see it. If there are two wires there have both of them checked for integrity (grounded, shorted or cut).

    Pagka kasi nagshoshort or grounded namamataymatay ang solenoid nyan kaya nawawalan ng krudo sa injection pump.

    Sirs,

    Ito po yun picture ng injection pump ko. I highlighted the two set of wires going into it. One is on the top of the picture (pair of wires, maybe a sensor?) and one to the side (one wire, possible power). Which wire is for the solenoid, and what is the purpose of the other wire?

    The two wires are part of a 18mm nut (probably a transducer) low voltage detected here. The other wire is connected to the injection pump via a 8mm nut. This wire is 12 volts when the key is on. I assume this is the magnetic valve.

    Questions:

    May voltage naman sa magnetic valve. How could I determine if its really the problem (it is malfunction). Is there some screw I could loosen to check if fuel is pumped to the engine?

    Medyo resigned na ako sa problem ng engine ko. Could someone recommend a diesel mechanic/shop near Paranaque. I could have it towed there. Medyo mahal kasi service sa Isuzu.

    I am experiencing quite the same problem. Actually I dont know kung kaparehas ng naging problema mo. Every morning when I start my isuzu fuego (4JB1), hindi sya tumutuloy unless bombahin ko yung accelerator. Ive been to that for more than 3 months. Ilang change oil na dumaan pero ganon pa rin. Two weeks ago sabi ng isuzu madumi lang fuel filter. Ok sya for abour two days ng mapalitan ng fuel filter. Pero ngayn balik sa dating sakit. Anybody can help me?

    Kung Ok siya for two days after mapalitan ang fuel filter, baka ang fuel tank ang madumi. Check mo ulit ang bagong fuel filter kung dumumi siya kaagad. Kung madumi, malamang nag-bara ulit. Pa-check mo ang tank. Baka ang diesel din ang madumi? Sa iisang gas station ka lang ba nagpapa=karga?

    thanks for the reply. actually before ko sya i change oil pinalinis ko na muna tanke. and iba ibang gas station din ako nagpapa refill. I haven't check kung madumi ulit fuel filter.

    it seems that there is air in the fuel system. the check valve in the primer pump may be the culprit.

    question, once started na leave the engine in idle, if namamatay then may air sa system.

    It was the switch itself. Corroded na yun pinaka valve (the moving part), kaya nag stuck up.
