the "check trans" light of my isuzu xto 2002 A/T is flashing/blinking after running for approx 1km. I just noticed this last night. But nothing seems to be any problem on my shifting..except that there was an instance that while the shift is on "R", engine shuts off (a/c was off when this happened) but when I turned on the a/c at this moment while backing...hindi na nmatay engine. Is this problem related to the flashing of light of "check transmission"?...
Anyway, what should be the first thing that I should check..Im afraid pag dinala ko sa shop..sabihin agad for replacement transmission ko.........
should transmission fluid has something to do with this also...?

    pls comment

pacheck mu muna ang a/t fluid mu. then yung transmission itself and sensor na din. padiagnose mu bakit namatay na din ang makina while umaatras ka. anyways, kadalasan, a/t sensors activates pag low or drained ang at fluid, if so, malamang may leak, you must check if asan ang leak then repair or replace the whole at transmission. else, mas malakeng problema yan hehehe joke lang

sorry for the word, pero "stupidong" shop lang ang magsasabi na palit agad ang transmission ng di pa nalalaman kung anu ang sira and di ka man lang latagan ng alternatives para maayos ang sasakyan mu.

thanks sa advice..nung pina check ko sa gasoline station yung level ng a/t fluid, accdg to the "boy"..ok pa daw. Oh well I really need to bring it na to the shop...but you're right, "stupidong" shop lang ang magsasabi na palit agad ang transmission. But I know you will agree with me na maraming shop nag te take advantage din sa mga customers na less ang knowledge..I mean..they will quote a bigger job and higher cost of material just for them to earn more....kahit may cheaper alternatives.

Anyone who can reffer me to a trusted shop within the area of Alabang to Carmona Cavite?

Hopefully safe pa i drive xwind ko...

i suggest you also have an authorized ISUZU dealer see your Crosswind. Not that I'm saying you have them do it but at it is expected that they are "authorities" in diagnosing and fixing ISUZU vehicles. This should serve as your 2nd opinion.

Should you find their quote and assessment valid vis-a-vis the previous consultations you had then you could have them do your Crosswind. You get guarantee on both workmanship and parts.

good day sir, I also experienced the same error code in my XUVi pero hindi naman namamatay engine ko and smooth pa rin ang shifting and takbo. What I did was to change my ATF. It did not totally solved the problem but bihira na lumabas ang Check Trans error. Sabi ng Petron mechanic na pinag change ATF ko, kadalasan sa mga A/T na crosswind na ginagawa nila iyan ang problem. It is electronic / electrical in nature, ang culprit daw is SPEED SENSOR.
