    May tanong ako sa TDi ng isuzu... kelan pumapalo yun turbo nya? 2k rpms ba?

    if for example I started the engine and I moved it to a different parking slot(ex. nag reverse lang ako) without reaching 2k rpm, ok lang na di na ako mag warm down ng 2/3 mins before shutting it down?

    I know kelangan i-warm up ng 2-3 mins yun engine bec. of the turbo. same din with the warm down right? when is this done usually? I know its mandatory for startup since its first used in the morning. kapag regular use say going to work? my commute is only 2.5kms home to office and i only get 40-50kph topspeed. i was wondering if the 2/3 min warm shutdown is a waste of time and fuel...

    hey there, i'm john from tagbilaran city bohol, can i join your isuzu club? My mother bought a croswind xuvi matic, since she doesn't know much about vehicles so i took care of it eversince. Mag one year napo yong xuvi namin ngayong march. I was suprised when i knew that there's an existing isuzu club here. I'm a bit far from your place/s but i still can communicate to you guys... if you will let me join the isuzu club, well my mother owns it, not me piro ako ang nag aalaga sa sakyanan, sounds like it's my own car too. i luv this xuvi since it's our second car.

    till here...

    john requina/driller;
    first di po ako isuzu guru. sabi nga ni xwind, mahiyain p yung guru dito. hehehe. as far as A/T(re: placing "neutral" or "Park" during warming up) wala po akong nakikitang problema dyan(M/T po yung trooper ko). trup's rig is A/T kaya siguro masasagot nya yan. garyq's previous bighorn is A/t also kaso out of town yata sya ngayon. buti pa search kayo sa "Diesel forum" or post na lang kayo ng question kasi in general naman yung question nyo about A/T. hth.

    re: warm up with a/t tranny, ako sa park na warm-up pero mga 15 seconds lang since gasoline ang trooper ko....and very seldom ko ginagamit ang hand brake, usually sa incline surface lang, sa tingin ko mas safe mag warm up sa park, less yung chances na malagay sa drive accidentally

    starting an automatic car is usually done by placing it in P=Park. Neutral is only used if you dont want to lock the tranny with the engine. to maintain the proper wear and tear of you isuzu, never switch the tranny too much. park is meant to place the car if you are finish driving the car. r=reverse, n=transmission not engaged with engine. d=normal driving, d2 or 2=2 gears movement and 1=tranny never shift. 2 and 1 used for engine breaking.

    btw..lets get this isuzu club starting..isuzu gurus...

    Thanks sa mga hints nyo mga gurus,i'm quite confident na using P for warming,may nagsabi din kasi sa akin na fuel savings ang N for warm up,but instead following his advise, i prefered pa rin using P,and very rare kong gamitin ang handbreak.So far wala pa namang akong na e-encounter na problema since i bought the used trooper.
    More power sa inyo...

    Thanks guys....

    yeah ganda at ok talaga ang porma. The engine is tipid talaga 11km/L consumo namin when we traveled to Tarlac. We bought it last Jan pa, we already have a problem with the keyless entry, dati nag-autolock sya in few seconds, now di na need to press lock in remote. Maybe there's problem in setting the keyless entry or nawala sa default set-up. I could not help naman dito ako sa africa next month pa uwi ko. My wife is the one driving it now. Any advise from you guys...
