August 13th, 2009 06:08 AM #33Great! Let me know how it turns out. The lowest price in Sea Oil I compared is usually in Naga Sea Oil. Her in Manila, consistently lower is the one in San Juan (P. Guevara corner Santolan). This is across the Flying V Arena. Another good branch is the one on Shaw Boulevard in Pasig. A bottle (small) of their additive is good per 20 liters. It helps clean the injectors and tank.
Most recent repairs:
Replaced Brake pads and shoes
Replaced Clutch Disc
Replaced Pressure Plate
Replaced Release Bearing
Replaced Pilot Bearing
Maganda din kung may list sana tayo dito ng mga part numbers and tips and also reputable outlets for our parts and accessories for our reference. It saves time and money since we can avoid return trips to the store due to wrong parts.
Cheers!

sir kita ko ung mga pics ng fuego mo.. ganda ah... mukang masarap ung river adventure mo. laguna area nga pala ako so mejo layo sakin ung branches ng sea oil.. hehe. sir anong size ng tyres mo? ako naman sir new fuego owner.
Got it 2 weeks ago so bago palang ako handling a diesel. past cars ko kc lahat gas. anyway, when i got it, naka headers na and simota air filter. binalik ko sa stock ung air filter kc ramdam ko mejo malakas sa krudo.
i also put dueler694 a/t 235/75/r15 then pinataasan ko. ung mags nya is rota na naka offset. balak ko lagyan ng fender garnish ba or fender flare ( d ko alam name talaga)kasi kawawa ung body pag dumadaan sa mejo baha or wet surface. Hanap pa ko, so far la pa ko makita. bka may advice po kayo. also caryboy rollerup narin kung sakali po.. salamat po!

Thanks, Martin. We can post our progress sa site natin sa NING. Please feel free to post there sa Ning.
I am also relatively new sa 4wd/off road/diesel scene. I just started using the vehicle in December 2007. All my previous cars were gasoline powered and set up for either rally or street tuner. Most were turbocharged.
Yung set up ko ay 2-2.5 inch lift since I took over the truck. Medyo masama condition niya noon so I replaced suspension with Old Man Emu medium duty leaf springs and shocks (dampers). 3-6 months pa kasi from order.
My wheel set is 31 x 10.5 x 15. May wheel computer sa 4x4ph. Di ko pa na compute. hehehe. I plan to use 32 or 33 sometime soon but I would have to lift the car some more. Mag post pa ako ng developments ng truck ko with photos doon sa Ning site natin so we can use the part numbers or photos as reference.
Cheers!

August 13th, 2009 03:24 PM #36Martin,
So far, Sea Oil has given me consistent results in terms of better performance and economy. I'm sure the other brands have their advantages too. The shift to biodiesel is for personal reasons. The other benefits I've enjoyed are less smoke, cleaner engine.
Listed below are the Sea Oil branches in Laguna (http://www.seaoil.com.ph)
Station List
STATION NAME STATION ADDRESS Binan Brgy. Tulay Bato, National Highway, San Antonio, Binan, Laguna Calamba, Laguna Brgy Lawa, Calamba, Laguna, Los Banos Nat'l Hiway, Batong Malaki, Los Banos Laguna Siniloan Siniloan, Laguna Tulo, Calamba Natl. Highway. Brgy. Tulo, Calamba, Laguna
Check the ning site for new photos. I believe that the yellow fuego has the flares you want. It was modified by 199 ORH in Tondo. That's the sort of bumper I plan to upgrade to soon.
Cheers!

sir kasali na ko sa ning site natin.. cool ung mga pics don. i left some comments for you..
(both materials and labor)
update pa ako next time bout my ride.. and soon post ako ng pics both here and sa ning site natin.
cheers!

August 14th, 2009 08:01 AM #39(MartinTuazon) sir kasali na ko sa ning site natin.. cool ung mga pics don. i left some comments for you..
Welcome to the site, bro. I have always had a difficult time finding references for the Isuzu Fuego. Maybe we can put our experiences there to help the others who are like us.
as for my ride naman, nung nakuha ko nandon na ung mags nya and maliit ung tyres na nakalagay. stock din suspention (height). pinalitan ko ng dueler a/t 235/75/r15 then tinaasan ung torsion bar sa harap( sagad na daw) and naglagay ng lifter sa likod ( ung kinakabit sa dulo ng leaf spring) mejo d nga pantay ang height sa likod.. sabi nung nagservice, d na daw kasi maganda ung leaf springs ko.. d ko naman alam kung anong isasagot ko or gagawin ko dahil clueless pa nga ako..
Ganoon din ang nangyari sa akin. When I got the truck, it was stinky and almost in shambles. Hand painted (brush) pa yung ibang repairs all over the body. The bumper was twisted and tied in place, the grille and headlamps were just attached by a wire and some adhesive. The tail lamps were cracked and broken and also busted. Only one headlamp was functioning (moody) while the other had "sore eyes". The reverse lights were constantly on. My suspension was also uneven and had free kalampag. This is why I was so happy when I discovered the OME Nitrochargers on sale while I was canvassing for prices. I first considered two other shock absorber brands but they were quite expensive. I was also informed then that the leaf springs were on sale so I got the set. I did not want to pay for torsion bars if they were not available (by order and it would take more than a month). I was satisfied by the results and still am.
so ang naka line up nalang na gusto ko gawin sa pick-up ko ay fender flare, carryboy roller-up, konting retouch sana sa paint, pati new leaf springs sana ( pag may extra budget).mejo malaki ring gastusan kaya ipon muna konti and hanap mura makukuhanan...hehe..

I also tried experimenting with other brands but this one is the best so far. I hope they increase the percentage of biodiesel mix sooner though. Yung sa tipid, try mo lang yung smooth driving as if may itlog sa ilalim ng accelerator mo and as if may baso ka ng tubig sa dashboard mo. You may be surprised sa results. Sa turbo, I'm not sure about current prices but I suggest you look for Dondi Montecillo. He may have a package that is right for your budget. He explains the how and why of everything.
update pa ako next time bout my ride.. and soon post ako ng pics both here and sa ning site natin. Oo, please post photos of your ride on our Ning page. We can also arrange an eyeball soon so we can compare notes
cheers!
