Para saan gamit ang turbo timer?

baka naman matanggal ang double adhesive sa vibration ng engine, better to have it bolted on.

Dudee: With a Turbo timer installed your engine will have around a 2min (depende sa settings mo) delay before shutting down after you've removed the key. Para di ka na maghintay, automatic na.

If you want stealth, use the same brand of turbo timer the Fortuner boys here use. It's only external part is custom made to fit switch blanks on the dashboard. It's made in Thailand.

Sorry for my ignorance, is it an advantage for the engine to self- shut off with the turbo timer rather than we shut it off ourself?

How long ba dapat idle time ng engine before shutdown? kung 1 or 2 mins, imo its not worth it. kung 10-15min pede siguro. i mean, how long is a couple of minutes?

IMO... it is a bit unnecessary as newer turbos can already cope with that kind of stress (it has something to do with the oil in the turbo... tinatamad lang ako mag search. )

plus... you can just drive a bit slower (no high revs) a few minutes / kilometers before your destination...

unless you drive like a maniac all the time and rev the engine always (in which case you should have gotten a faster & nimbler sedan than a slower & heavier diesel pickup).

    yeah! precisely! thanks mazda!

pag nagpapark ka naman, you do it slowly so that you dont scratch or bump your baby on a wall or car... and its not as if you rev it to 3k or something just to park right? unless youre racing to get that last spot on the corporate lot or its off to the pay parking for you hehehe.

I'm usually so late, I'm racing all the way to the parking lot. hehehe.

Yung hidden turbo timer, yung mga Fortuner boys may alam kung san meron at ok. May pics pa ng install sa Fortuner thread.

I have one installed in my Isuzu Adventure Master Elegance (a slightly diff version of the Alterra/MU 7) here in Bangkok. It "shoots" nicely into the switch blanks.

    See "clickable" pics below

I also installed the same type of timers on my Gen 1 and Gen 2.5 Paj rigs. Swak na swak din sa switch blanks.
