So mas mura parin mag import?
No wonder nawawala talaga ang mga manufacturing plants dito.

^personally, I think we just don't have the scale...

Sa Thailand, kahit fruit vendors naka HiLux/DMax

Cars made in Thailand can be sold at neighboring countries...

Thailand is connected to other countries by land... If they build 1M cars, those cars can be easily sold sa Malaysia etc

Philippines also makes cars that drive on the left side of the road, kaso to sell it to neighboring countries, kailangan mo pa ng barko

I am at a loss as to how a locally produced vehicle would be taxed more than an ASEAN region country imported vehicle! Isn't a locally produced vehicle supposed to have the biggest amount of tax incentives? The government is definitely shooting its own foot with this one.
