Based on my observation it looks like the unit is reposses issued to your brother. Actually I have a 2007 sportivo and I am satisfied for the over all performance of the unit as this car got accident with my son in pampanga were 4X na bumaliktad luckily no body got serious injury. Since it is totaly wrecked they replace it with the New 2008 sportivo so far wala pa naman mga problema almost 4 months hopefully sana hindi matulad sa kay Bro. By the way bago lang ako dito pero marami na akong natutunan sa mga na i post na mga thread.

However, Isuzu could improve on suspension performance during high speeds. Isuzu sales staff was excellent. The warranty service is good to excellent depending on what day i bring the car into their shop. Parts availablity is excellent...having bought the usual air filters, oil filters and brake pads for just in case.

ay ganun na experience nyo? sad to hear about that. matagal na kong walang tiwala sa isuzu products except maybe dun sa alterra lang nila (pero napapangitan din ako sa alterrang yun hehe). yung isuzu pa naman tuwang tuwa/masayang masaya na nanalo sila na may best silang mga taga ayos. as far as i could remember merong paskil sila nun sa labas ng showroom nila sa alabang area dati. correct me na lang if im wrong pero parang yun nga yung nakita kong nakasulat sa labas nila dati

Yeah, I have a funny feelings also that this SPORTIVO what he purchased was just a re-possesed only. As far as I know I got my 7 months old Sportivoh 2008, i travel too much from Pampanga up to Baguio but I don't seen or feel any changes or problem to my rig.

i remember my nightmares when i owned a bnew xwind xuv.

yes, totoo matibay isuzu, matibay makina ! parang pang habang buhay na tlaga.

pero everything besides the engine, seems to fail so very early even on warranty period.

things i dreaded on my xuv:
after sales service ! (non existent!)
power windows
crack muffler
butas pipe going to the gas tank ( results to water in tank. fixed this myself. casa ddnt know how to trace the problem )
squeeky seats
ndi aligned almost all doors
steering wheel and wheel alignment
radiator may tagas na
some light switches on dashboard busted already


all these in warranty period. sold the unit after 4 years.

bought a toyota hilux. till now never visited the dealer reagarding warranty issues. saya!

u want my advice tsikot brother? u should strictly demand for a new unit or a full refund. hindi pwede ung ginagawa nila.pagpinalampas mo ito kayang kaya nila gawin kahit kanino.they shudnt let d customer suffer!!!!. dont wori bro ,just let us now what action they made. our auto club will support your decision. who's ur dealer? please post it immediately so that i can warn my fellow auto club members before they buy an isuzu.

You're right Sir, still the ISUZU is the tough engine in the Philippines.
We can't judge easily especially when you're just reading the misjudgement quote of other people. Like for instance they have other brand type of vehicle and they want to show in the WORLD that they have the number one VEHICLE on earth, even they pull down others they will do it what ever it takes. CRAB MENTALITY!!!!

Don't make me wrong, about my statement but we can share all the deffects of our ISUZU or even other vehicles but don't JUDGE it especially GENERALLY!!!

to all isuzu crosswind owners:
i have been a frequent viewer in all your posts. it has helped me convince my brother in getting the 2008 Sportivo.ung sakin kasi kia sportage diesel. he had it for two weeks now and i wouldn't call him a proud owner of one. since the day of release, many defects of the new unit was noted and many more on the subsequent days of use. namely:

1. defective aircon since the day of release (nawawala ang lamig pag naka-idle ang sasakyan; sabi ng dealer bago pa daw kasi o kaya kulang pa sa gasolina kasi almost empty nung nakuha; 1 week na at lagi half full ang tank eh namamatay pa rin lamig)
2. ung dirvers side door di naka-align, di sumasara ng maayos ( pero inayos naman agad at inadjust) so far, di pa nahuhulog
3. ung tint na pinalagay namin, puro scratches and bubbles (sabi ng dealer, kalalagay lang daw kasi; 1 week na eh may bubbles pa rin at lalo dumami)
4. steering wheel hindi naka-center (sabi ng dealer, di daw kc pantay kalsada pero kahit nasa flat surface na, di pa rin center)
5. handbrake (hand mo gamitin mo pang brake, sobra hina kasi)
6. upuan ng driver's seat parang may alagang daga sa ilalim (laging may lumulagatok)
7. gulong hindi naka-align since the day of release; kumakabig sa kanan pag brake mo (sabi ng dealer, bago pa daw kasi brake pads)
8. ung front and rear bumpers maluwag, parang mahuhulog ( sabi ng dealer design daw un "aerodynamic" meaning pag hinangin, lipad ang bumper mo)

i dont know kung ganito rin ang sportivo nyo since the day of release. we are thinking of demanding for a change of unit dahil marami defects. i also noticed kasi na ala sya quality control sticker sa windshield nung ni-release.

it is also important to note na di naging maganda ang service nung dealer or baka naman mismong planta ang may problema.

just recently, ung muffler exhaust eh medyo maitim na rin ang usok. i just dont know if ganito talaga sportivo.

Sasabihin ko na pag di nila pinalitan, sa muling pagbabalik ko, eh may kasama na akong media at mag papa TV ako at magpapa balita sa dyaro at tabloid at ialalantad ko naging problema ko sa bagong bili kong sasakyan sa kanila at isusumbong ko sila kay tulfo at punta ako DTI at sabay file ng demanda!

wala me na-experienced na mga problema na nababasa ko dito...kahit dun sa lumang highlander namin na 8 years old na eh okay na okay pa hanggang ngayon....

dapat ma reklamo yan... ano sabi ng SA gulong hindi naka-align since the day of release; kumakabig sa kanan pag brake mo (sabi ng dealer, bago pa daw kasi brake pads) meron ba nun? baka sira yung LSPV or load sensing proportioning valve nya..
