    Torque,

Actually Preference lang naman nang buyer yan eh... siyempre dealer wiil add some freebies sa unit mo.. that doesn't mean na ISUZU mismo naglagay... walang tint yan.....

Re : Muffler problem...

for a 4JA1 Engine..... Super lakas hatak niya kaya the best.... City Driving ko : 9Km/Li Highway 14km/li

    Ungas,

    *Tebs,

    OT :
    master boknoyXTRM2001XUVi2003,
malaking factor pala yung bigger tyres ng XUVi pagdating sa city driving mileage... 11-12 km/liter kasi city driving ko on the 205's of the XTO vs. the XUV's 235's. 13-15 km/li for highway driving (hataw kasi ako magmaneho, 100- 120 kph cruising speed) ... nga pala hintay pa rin namin ni master x-wind yung valve tappet adjustment instructions :D thanks in advance!

    * torque,
porma -- subjective yun pre, personally it's a toss-up between xuv and adventure... but as far as engine is concerned...
masasabi ko lang , after 75,000 kms * 75 km/day driving.... from the zigszags of Tanay, pililla to baguio, never failed me. power and torque, parang ganun pa rin ... never changed. one bit. overall mileage ko is 12 km/liter. need i say more?

baligtad pre, more wider tyres, more fuel consumption... more road frictionand more rolling resistance e saka heavier wheels...
215? ala pang 1 year old yung 205's ko pre. after 2 -3 yrs siguro palit uli ako.

would have gotten XUVi m/t if not for the price (mahal) and engine (power) medyo mahina. ok lang siya, maporma.

We're about to purchase a 2nd hand XTO a/t (02 model with 30+K on the odo)... Can anyone kindly post a link/info on the previous threads on the muffler and rad problems of the Crosswind? I'd really appreciate it.

Lintek na presyo ng gasolina kaya we sold our gas guzzler sedan and are getting the Crosswind.

Hehe... mukhang malapit na ako maiimpeach (langya, na extend ako ng one more year sa NB nung huling board meeting... wala kasing pera kaya walang may gusto ng posisyon, hehe :D)... Pero may Nissan pa rin naman ako.

When i have the time, i'll be going out to check the car closely. Mukhang OK naman siya since the interior is fresh, no bumps or dents (or repint work) when i lifted it up... suspension is still solid. I forgot about the rad and muffler issue back then so i'll do another check. Pero tama nga, yung makina yung binibili nating, di yung muffler. One thing i noticed though is that it has more noise than my TD27 (pre combustion chamber) but heck ok lang... kabit ko nalang yung subwoofer ko.

I'm already thinking up of ways to improve on the performance of the engine now.

Can anyone suggest what to do to make the ride smoother? I've tried decreasing tire pressure, and it works, but that's a baaad solution.
Are there substitutes/alternatives to the factory suspension? Conversion kits?
    Salamat

Reverse the rear helper spring and compensate with gas shocks? That's what we're contemplating on ours pag nagpalit ng shocks (mura lang yung KYB Gas-A-Justs for the Xwind).
